I don't know what to say. I have loved Montezuma's Revenge since it was first released and I continue to replay it because it makes me happy. I am so excited to play this new version. I may explode.

I'm really thankful to Robert Jaeger for creating this game. Montezuma was and is still part of my life since my older brother gave me his Atari 130XE for my 4th birthday back in 1992. I played since then this game and spent countless hours investigating the pyramid and dreaming about it, everything boosted by the imagination that any 4 years old child has. What I see from the trailer is awesome, I hope that Robert and his team can take this as a feedback. I really love the new mechanics with the buttons but seeing the final boss fight, I think it can be improved by adding a puzzle section to the fight by using the same buttons to weaken the scenario and cause him to fall, or risk everything and jump on his head to kill him. The darkness effect looks great, I hope it is for the torch. I think that if the torch gives you a limited range if vision it will make the game more challenging instead of illuminating the entire rooms. Please in this director's cut, add a classic mode with an in-game timer for people that wants to speedrun the game. That would be awesome as I'm still playing to improve in this game. And lastly, please try to include the old intro with the Spanish Flea theme. I really love Montezuma and now I'm 35 years old and still feels like the old days when I sat in front of the TV entire evenings. I think this won't be any surprise for Robert, but I'm from Chile and I assume that my game wasn't original as I had the game in cassette tape format but I already bought the Steam version to pay my debt and gratitude to you. Thanks so very much Robert!!

yo lo tenpia pirata en cartucho xD de hecho vi varios versiones del juego, yo tenía esta con "Pedro" con sombrero mexicano, pero un amigo tenía la otra con "Panama Jack" (gorro tipo indiana jones). Nunca entendí muy bien por qué habia varias versiones hasta que me puse a leer la historia.

I don't know if I'm losing my mind, but on your just released VCS version when I get to the room where you enter from right, go through red door, go through red door, go through blue door, grab white key, go through blue door, jump to rope - I can't get off the bottom of the rope! It is always a fall to my death!

Hah! the boss is here, i've seen that there's a boss that cant be beatin in some roms, was there a plan to actually have a boss in the original game? I loved montezuma as a kid, i played it in the 800xl
