Have gotten my first Tarantula Crib. More are already en route. Such amazing quality. Even the packaging blew me away. Top notch operation!

Yeah i dont trust those magnets one bit! 😂 also o think these enclosures are way way waaayyyyyy to expensive for what they are. Not only that but they scratch alot easier than glass. I managed to cut build and decorate 10 glass enclosures in two weekends costing me £15 per enclosure with all materials included. Much much more rewarding fun and practical. But hey thats just my opinion.

I love the way you set up your enclosure with the live plants . I have yet to try using live plants . Great job hope you are doing well .

Thank you. Yes I’m doing well. I love using plants for my moisture dependent species. It helps me remember to water frequently. If I notice the plants declining I know I need to increase my watering. 🤓👍🏼

Love the treehouse enclosure, but this mega tree house looks perfect for a Poecilotheria regalis!! I agree, some arboreals are easier to keep with a top opening enclosure like T. Rasti or P. Irminia. ❤❤

I literally am dying to get the purple orange and black trio coffin cribs for my lats I think my red widow would just look absolutely stunning against the black background and my black’s beautiful against the orange and purple is my favorite color. So excited to scoop them up! I’m loving the shelf fungus also what a great way to compliment the enclosure!

The large coffin yes. It would be interesting though considering that C. versicolor like to web. The whole front of the coffin is the door so you’d most likely be tearing its web every time you opened the enclosure.

I’m not sure if there are any enclosures similar in the UK. I thought I’ve seen some on Dave’s Little Beasties or Mr. Grindler’s Creatures that were somewhat similar. I know y’all have those cylindrical enclosures but I’m not sure about the acrylic ones like Tarantula Cribs.

I can make you glass ones of the same design with mesh instead of holes? Magnet closing front and top for arboreal with extra latch security and top opening terrestrial.

Are their eyes fixed or can they move them?

Tarantula eyes are fixed I believe. They have 8 of them set up kind of like a turret on top of their heads. They don’t have great eyesight but can detect changes in light. They also don’t all see equally. If you’ve ever seen a closeup picture of their eyes you’ll see the two front largest eyes actually have an iris and probably have the best vision while the others look somewhat opaque and seem more like sensors and are most likely used to see changes in light.
