@@TarantulaHaven I got my own little H.chilensis this week as well. They are very rare, so I knew I had to get one for myself. Here in the UK prices are £60/$77, and that is for teny tiny babies. I've been pretty lucky with the rare ones this past month. I also managed to get my hands on Eupalaestrus Campestratus & Grammostola Rosea (Rcf). So, I have parted with a heap of money on rare and expensive T's this month. Two weeks ago I also lost my Mum in law to Dementia 😢 So I do know how you are feeling, and what you and your family are going through. Here with you every step of the way Alex. God Bless you all x

@@naomijones3731 congrats on your new babies. Those are some good finds. Sorry to hear about your mother-in-law. It is a terrible thing. She’s been having really good days lately but there are times when she gets confused and talks about people whom have passed as if they were still around. Sometimes it can be humorous. One time we were all sitting at her house and enjoying each others company and I guess she was getting tired so she announced, “Ok, I’m ready to go home now.” We had a good laugh considering she was home. 😂

Hey Alex! I'm so sorry for what you and your wife and your Mil are going through. I've had a lot of problems with my mom's health recently too, including a physical therapy rehabilitation center. My mom has been home 4 days now. I agree that you and your family need to spend as much time with MIL as possible with the time you have left. Please don't feel pressured to put out videos. I also got my obsession with H chilense from Tom Moran. He really endeared them to me. I also just love dwarf Ts. I am still relatively new to keeping Ts, its only been a year and a half, and as you said, they are small as slings, and after buying the sling, paying taxes, and shipping those little guys are almost or just over 200 (150 for the sling). I was too afraid I would mess up and kill the sling. However, the H chilense was the first day of Fear Not's 12 Days of Christmas sale. It was only 50 bucks! I was so excited, and went for it. I'm so happy I did. I think ours may be sac mates! I'm so happy you got those and I teared up along with you. It couldn't be a nicer gift, for a nicer person who needed some kindness in his life at the moment.

I am so sorry. My father died from dementia 7 years ago, and my mother, 92, now has dementia and is getting visibly worse all the time. It is horrible to go through this. Being there is a comfort to people with dementia - long after my father no longer knew who I was, he knew he could trust me, on some level he knew this. My younger sister and I spent his last night sleeping in his room at his nursing home - he had one final lucid moment and thanked her for being there. Don't think it doesn't matter; it does.
