The current state is that with all the investbros telling people to hoard as much booster boxes as they can the demand > supply and kids can t get packs for what they used to be. When target is completely emptied of any pokemon stuff not by parents but by fat dudes with poor hygiene in their 30s and these guys hoard full carts of etbs and anything thay lays around besides the mystery boxes you know there is a problem. THAT is the current state of Pokemon: Grown adults buying whole stores stocks to hoard or resell to parents who now can t find anything anywhere. And investbros are to blame for that

Investerbros will continue to exist. That is just something we have to live with. The way we combat it is via counter measures such as stores implementing buy limits, more allocation to local LGS (who will be able to better and fairly allocate products), and via higher/longer print runs for sets even after they go out of rotation.

One of my rounds in Louisville was against a chair assisted person. She had one of the scooter chair things for leg casts. What happened was she got a permanent seat number at the tables by the registration/side event spots and your pairing on RK9 showed what seat you would be at crossed out and her reserved number on there. Edit: I forgot that I would take series 4!

Wow, what great pulls! 😛 My local shop only gives out one Play Pokemon! Prize Pack per tournament participant and gives out a certain number of the latest booster packs depending on ranking, so it blows my mind that other shops out there are able give away multiple Prize Packs like this. 😮 But then again, I guess it depends on allocation and local demand. My best pull from a Prize Pack Series 5 Pack was from last week’s local Challenge where I get a Mew ex! It made up for my horrible 0-3 performance! 😅 Prize Pack Series 5 all the way!

All POP cards or tournament prizes/gifts are expensive. And most people don't want to give them up. I have a playset of Plasma Gold Ultra balls but use my old school league ones over the gold most the time. I have 20 of each energy from most releases. They hold a crazy value. Anything that is a staple or in meta rn will be nuts. But even when they drop out people want full sets from these pack, and they cost BANK. My most expensive set is league DCE's, I got the Oceanis ones. I have the NA Staff one also. My favorite is I got 20 each Play! league energies. People freak when I pull the out.

That one is cheaper, but for collectors the other ones which are harder to pull hold more value

The zard battle deck only just came out, so it’s still making the rounds. Prime still has some value, though I doubt there has been many selling recently, and it will likely go down to $5~ in the coming months, similar to radiant greninja
