Very excited to have a play with this deck. I have the Deluxe League Miraidon that I’m wanting to upgrade. With rotation around the corner and taking a good chunk of the cards used it’s going to be interesting seeing what happens to this deck moving forward. i love this deck and started playing it a few weeks ago when you posted a video similar to this, spent about $80~ on tcgplayer just to build it lol except i only play one Iron Hands because the one you posted a few weeks ago only ran one. but fun deck though! itll probably be the one i take to my very first pokemon tcg local! i have about 5 decks to choose from but this one seems like the keeper for sure!

Love this deck and fun it is giving me playing it. I love miraidon ex because of its ability allowing you to build your bench quickly, and its photon blaster is a nice touch aloowing you to attack if you don"t have energy on other pokemon.

I love the aggressive nature of the Miraidon card. Being able to swarm and set up for a turn 2 attack is fantastic. If I got the Miraidon from you, I’d be putting it straight into a “no trade” binder…especially if the Miraidon Master signed it *wink wink*

Miraidon should always be one-shot by charizard because of its 2-2-2 gameplan, meaning that charizard should be doing 240 damage. You're going to really struggle as Miraidon if you ever lose that 2-prize turn at the start

You charm the hands, or arm press or fats charge instead, you don’t go 2-2-2 up they wise, sometimes you got 2-1-3 on they even help you by explosion a dusk Pokémon, zard is just a 50-50. You only lose if you don’t play smart against Charizard and play it like every other matchup. I’ve been farming Charizards locally with the deck

I that Miraidon seems to enable a very fast aggro gameplay style that I loved back when I played MtG. That Miraidon would absolutely go into my binder until I got the rest of the pieces together to throw him in a deck.

The upcoming Tapu Koko EX should work as a pseudo Raikou, however it's damage is far lower and no draw engine

Ceruledge is one of the hardest matchups, you deal with it with the normal strategy for this decks, 2-2-2, gholdengo is the same case, Amp, AMP/KO 2 prizer and close with Raichu. Getting the Charm on hands is very imporant

I thought about still beeing able to use Pikachu. With like a Counter Gain and Rainbow Energy or something it should still be possible No? Lmao feels like every deck will just die next rotation all those v pokemon gone.

Counter gain only counts as a colorless energy, and luminous energy isn’t worth since you can only use 1 luminous on a Pokémon and it’s not great otherwise, better off with DTE on hands plays. Raichu v does Pikachus attack style anyways. If you want to play Pikachu ex as a main attacker better off using a different deck other than Miraidon as the base. And lots of deck will need to adapt with rotation, just like every rotation. For example people said miraidon was dead without flaaffy yet I still popped off with it all summer without it. Plus many new deck or old decks will pop up with rotation too! Anyways rotation is 3 months away and we have 2 more sets before rotation :)

The numbers don’t tell the full story, a lot of top tier miraidon players such as Jesse Parker and JW Kriewall ended up not playing it and actually ended up playing my second choice for Toronto (which is pretty comforting) Iron Thorns Dragapult ex. Also the rise in Klawf gave many a tougher time if they were inexperienced in the matchup
