In America, most employees don't care. Me and my friends literally bought tickets to endgame(we already watched that) and watched John Wick 3. That movie is rated r and we are all 14-15. One of the employees saw us and she asked what we were doing and we said nothing. She then proceeded to tell us they don't really care if we movie hop as long as we clean up after ourselves and don't use phones during movies.

I recently went to the cinema with my friends and we decided to buy a huge bag of popcorn (honestly huge) before getting tickets. With our huge bag of popcorn, we went over to the ticket machine to buy a ticket for a really bad horror film out at that time. The horror film was obviously an 18 and me and my friends are 14 so when we went to the ticket clerk and he looked at us with the most suspicious look and said ‘sorry but you lot look barely over 12 and i’m not going to let you in’. We weren’t really bothered because there was an arcade next door. The only issue, was the f*cking huge box of popcorn that we had to drag around! We decided to just walk away and throw the popcorn of the bridge nearby. It landed on another guy who thought we did it on purpose and started to chase after us all the way to the edge of my city. We ended up completely lost so we ended up calling the police to help us. We got picked up by the police and taken home. It was a very traumatic experience!

For my 16th birthday, I went to watch IT with my friends (who were all already 18 years old). They all successfully paid for their tickets and when it came to my turn, I was denied sadly. this is how to sneak into a cinema have friends and a parent who’s cool with this plan 1. buy tickets to the movie you’re going to see (you have to buy one for the parent as well) 2. go into the cinema 3. have parent sit on the aisle seat 4. wait 10-20 minutes and then parent goes to the bathroom 5. parent doesn’t come back and you’ve snuck into the movie also make friends with adults that are going into the movie they can pretend to be an older sibling or parent or something and help you get in.

I wanted to see the First Venom film, but in the UK it's rated a 15 for some reason (the BBFC are actually soft, the film is equivalent to a 12, it really didn't warrant that age rating), and I was 14, so I couldn't see the movie, and I'm a law abiding citizen, so I couldn't think of sneaking in.
