Hello, I worked there after Pillsbury sold it to Cargill. I used to be a security guard there in the early 90s. I worked the Graveyard shift. It was spooky even back then, and there was only one floor with employees. They were testing the products for Cargill. Anyway, I have seen a couple of these videos, and no one ever shows the elevator that was a step on and off tupe. It ran all the way up and down the building. There were two huge holes on each floor so you could step on a plank and get off any floor you wanted. Did you see this at all?

I've seen similar step off elevator systems in other grain elevator style places, unfortunately I didn't get far enough into this one to see it.

That was a loooong ladder for it to be a dead-end! Worst case scenario, workers find you, can they detain you? If they called the police, could you get convicted for anything? Or are you just told not to return and there's nothing they can do? Love the raw content like this, brings the audience in as if we're with you on the whole journey.

90 percent of the time, you just get told to leave, I'm not sure of the legality of them detaining you, but they could definitely call cops.

Cool vid. Sucks you couldnt explore it all. I wanted to explore that place my whole life and reached out to the graffiti dudes painting there and can pretty much go explore it whenever i want. Demo is gunna start up heavy this year they claim.

I think its better to go at night where the workers are off work. The workers may most likely be abating Asbestos.

this place isn't abandoned... no it's not a factory anymore but it's run by an art's organization... all you had to do is talk to the people there and you could have done a video of the whole spot... this isn't a spot you get props for sneaking around.
