IKR I wait all week for it to come on this channel originally just showed Bondi lifeguards that's how I watched all of the seasons minus a few episodes, the name was originally Bondi something. But then once the original Bondi channel started showing all the seasons and episodes this channel changed its name and I was so happy to see this show come on

Another great episode! Great job by the Fishery Officers and finding all the hidden snapper! You would think people would know their limits and sizes. And great job in rescuing that man off the rocks. He’s very fortunate to be alive.

What would you do with 110 snappers? Wow!!! Surely they plan to sell them?

I agree these people deserve no mercy they hide them to avoid fines so give them maximum fines and take boat at very least. A soft touch is a waste of fisheries officers time and expense of taxpayers .

I don't know who wrote the commentary, but the first part is not Kawakawa, which is in the BOI. The area shown is Kawakawa Bay in the greater Auckland region.

@frmthefarmpak36159 ай бұрын
If fish are to be just put back in the ocean after already being killed.they should really be given to charity’s or to feed the homeless it’s really a huge waste.
@weftwarp153710 ай бұрын
I know we all have to make a living, but these fishermen don't seem to grasp what they're doing to the ocean with their overfishing. Not only will the NOT have a job but the place they earn living will die and if that dies we can all kiss our bums goodbye.
@Greg-k9q10 ай бұрын
No bonding back of boats just confiscate and sell them use the money for coastguard . The penalties are way too light if you want the pillage to stop.
@MG-fr3tn8 ай бұрын
Custodians should be advocating for much harder penaltys. Look at the sophistication of land production. Not high falutinv noise.

When the fish disappear we can all yawn.
@Stonkslayer8 ай бұрын
Sounds like the law needs to change in regards to the disposal of the confiscated fish. It should not be discarded into the sea, being able to distribute to charity or city mission would be better and less wasteful.

@FreeSoul1329 ай бұрын
Cmon 500 is f all they will do it again probably as if they get away with it then selling the fish would pay for past fines . Should be 5000 fine as they clearly trying to hide catch . This is a joke and fisheries needs to harden up .
@user-pt1cz4ot1e10 ай бұрын
I’m glad they’re strict on the rules, but it’s absolutely ridiculous that they waste all the fish, instead of giving them to people that could use them. Hell, take them to the zoo. I get that they’ll get eaten, but there’s plenty of dead fish in the ocean for other animals.
@harrycurrie966410 ай бұрын
How about giving them to the aged pensioners that can't go fishing ?
@waltersaunders76998 ай бұрын
What's going on? The punter has been battered on rocks by the swell and sustained injuries, and then being buffered by wind from the chopper; he's in shock FFS! But, no thermal blanket was offered despite the injury/dislocation of the lad's shoulder. Then the fellas who were doing the right thing catching fish, but measured things wrong with an age old mark on a knife, weren't given a plastic measuring device vice that are cheap? Isn't there proper first aide and compliance measures that go towards providing punters with the right things - even a blanket, sticker, or plastic ruler?
