Love the off-meta builds on not quite top tier factions! Also love that you're showing off people who aren't the same handful of names we've become accustomed to seeing at that top level, really shows a care for the community that those guys who might not be in the elite of the elite are getting a showcase and their time to shine!

I feel like Oxyotl got silently nerfed avile back. Maybe I'm crazy but I'm pretty sure he used to do waaaay more damage than that, like poor sneaky boy had hard time sniping Khatep of all things.

Well, going from game 2 to 3 ranged damage was nerfed across the board, including lords, so maybe that accounts for it? It's weird, ranged lords were never oppressive, now they are completely absent from the meta.

While im disappointed with amount of changes to campaigns with last patch one thing really stood up for me that is lizard man and cathat unit changes. Really gave them a lot of flavor. Hoping such changes for more factions in the future.

A great battle, as a Lizardman player I always enjoy seeing them, but they are one of the most unique factions. In the right hands they can really do some clever stuff, vwhile not be an op knuckle-dragger faction.

I'm not a competitive player, so I often wonder why Carnosaurs see so little play for LM. Are they just too expensive? The rampage too much of a downside? Might that have changed with the new rampage mechanics? I love them in SP as a fast anti-large assassin, especially against heavy cav. It does seem like LM in competitive always start off strong and run out of steam just before the end game.

I’m not a comp player either but I do watch a ton of these videos, I imagine they are pretty weak to skirmish cav/shooting unless you invest in a life caster to keep them alive, and at that point if you’re gonna invest that much in a monster you might as well get something that’s gonna have a bigger impact on the game like Dreadsaurian. Just my guess. Ushabti Greatbows here would’ve made extremely short work of a carno.

@@Joseph-is3nz I wonder about that. People seem to forget how fast carnosaurs are. You don't use them like a Saurian or other Dinos, where you just park them and let them grind it out. They should be waiting on the flanks and punishing cavalry charges. They're more than fast enough at 75 speed to circle around and come at the Ushabti greatbows from behind or the flank. If you keep them moving you can juke low-density fire fairly well. Skirmish cav are a problem, sure but they're a problem for basically everyone.

Between the skink cohorts high missle resist and missle block chance from having shields I would assume a bad accuracy roll for the shots with a good block roll for the skinks

it's a bug actually. The arrows did do damage, but shooting shielded targets often doesn't register on the value board @@toejams9310

In TOW entombed beneath the sands got nerfed, but sepulchral stalkers are still ok. They are still monster hunters and way better in melee. Just dont run them in units bigger than 3.

hmmmm one salamander pack would have changed this game i think. Too many skinks getting krumped in an instant. The RoR ripper earned it's pound of flesh from the Ushapti I'd bet. Holy hell though what a game! I've seen closer but the all the plays in this one makes me think it's the best one I've seen I think.
