I've started really liking Spirit of Gyrfalcons + Spirit of Galanor for activities like onslaught on hunter. Just use the strand super and a void weapon and you can start chaining it pretty well. It will work even better when roaming supers get buffed tomorrow.

I’ve been exclusively messing around with a ton of rolls for Titan this last week and imo for Nightfalls and dungeons I have preferred assassin+syntho over HOIL+syntho. I just really like being able to be invisible so often especially when I’m running weapons focused on spamming transcendence and consecration.

Spirit of Assassin is great for Titan for easy access to invis, a subclass perk that titan generally doesnt get much access to. Run with knockout and consecration and you got free invis and healing pretty often.

I actually really like renewal grasps/liars handshake for prism hunter. With the frost armor changes and this season's artifact, I generally feel more tanky. Plus duskfields are nice cc for ads like scorn, taken, or cabal since you can predict the spawns!

Spirit of Verity + Foetracer (or Inmostlight) on Hunter is also alot of fun, Verity also buffs your Gunpowder gamble so its pretty much a free granade that does 130.000 damage at 5x buff, and you also still have your equiped granade that is also buffed.

I got all thte meta combos so lately when i got downtimei have been trying to get some fun combos to see if they are fun or work. So far my favorite has been Caliban/Variety. Melee creates an ignition and gives me my gunpowder, and then it gets boosted my Variety since its a grenade.

@ most dps phases are too short to waste time using abilities that’s deal around 50% dmg than your heavy and special, that’s why u switched off of it in favor for weapon dmg. If it had fusion nades boy id be using it more often. Either way both variants of it COOK!

that's fair, i usually use it w vortex grenades + threaded needle + song of flame my loop goes: - song of flame melee - shotgun shot x3 - loop until super ends - proc bns and dump gl + vortex nades + threaded needle until out of insatiable and gl ammo - switch back to shotgun if still have ammo, if not equip outbreak and shoot until dps ends im looking forward to the ignition fix

My current favorite is Hunter's Spirit of the Dragon & Spirit of The Liar, so that dodge restore melee and weapon. Pairing this with Alethonym is so much fun! Also Inmost Light + The Liar so you can combo melee, melee, melee, grenade ad infinitum

Assassin/syntho is what i been using. Great for doing gm with randos. When they die you just consecration slam a red bar. Turn invis and revive. Also after melee you basically reset aggro giving more survivability.

Some other combo backups to the ones mentioned here for Hunters: [Inmost + Cyrtarachne] is another great high Woven Mail uptime. You don't get the Renewal benefits but the uptime of all your abilities can make up for it and synergize with mods better while not tying you down to a single grenade type. [Inmost + Star Eater] will be another great combo especially with the upcoming roaming super changes (Golden Gun is also considered a roaming super as long as you don't use Celestial) and with Attrition Orbs getting more recognition and applied on other archetypes like Area Denial frames? You can get max stack of Star Eaters pretty much all the time. tldr: Inmost paired with anything is pretty good lol

Personal favorite of mine on hunter is Inmost Light and Sixth Coyote. That extra dodge with shuriken is 4 abilities to have higher uptime on the ability regen.

Assassin and Contact on a consecration titan is about the craziest shit you will see in the game. I used that during the Lightblade GM with an Acrius, and the only thing that killed me, were the stupid ass fake ammo bricks. Otherwise Consecration + Ignition + jolted lightning + invisibility = melting rooms. Ideally hit a champion or lucent hive with the consecration, line up an Acrius shot to the face while invisible.

gotta disagree w/ the gyrfalcon pick. I personally find that OG gyrfalcons is MUCH better if you're going to be utilizing invis a lot for looping abilities or spreading volatile rounds rather than having the toned down version on the class item, even if galanor is helping the super regen. but that's just me personally.

Inmost + gyrfalcon , velocity baton( Attrtion orbs(2nd option is destabilizing rounds) and repulser), Stasis nade, Wither blade or spike, wither shroud(Or threaded spectral(Im still testing it as having enemies shoot at that while invis is nice)) and stylish executioner. you can also get the restoration on orb pick up.

Never did the exotic quest but was able to get around 10 exotic class items per character thanks to FOTL. I’ve deleted probably around 15 legendary class items and used up all my spare transmog (because fashion). None exactly stood out for me, the only one that has synergy is Spirit of Synthoceps/Assassin and Filament/Vesper for Warlock. Is Inmost Light/Star Eater and Osmiomancy/ Verity worth it? For Hunter, Ophidian/Coyote or Ophidian/Wormhusk for neutral play, Assassin/Liar for invis melee build is neat . Dragon/Verity I could probably figure out a specific use case for. For Titan, I got a Horn/ Hoarfrost which seems like a fun combo. I also got a Severance/Contact melee combo that unleashes explosion AND lightning strikes . I thought Abeyant/Conract was a cool combo then realized it was not flechette storm ranged melee but the class ability that procs it.

I've been farming Xur this whole weekend for HOIL + Contact... with the buffs Bungie announced in last week's TWID, I'm hoping it can be a good backup for my HOIL + Synthos. The lighting strikes will do more damage, and you get malee energy on kills. I was lucky enough to get the Assassin + Contact class item but still farming for HOIL + Contact. 🍻

Typically any group you lightning surge into should have some sort of weak enemy (dreg/thrall/stalker etc) so you should always be proc’ing devour first the heal and syntho dies the rest But I get why people would want to play it safe w/ cowl

For titans spirit of inmost light and spirit of contact is superior to sprit of sytho imo, the aoe damage and lightning strikes have a larger damage radius then synthos and do just as much extra damage while ALSO jolting the target/s, saying it has no place in grandmaster nightfalls is hilarious seeing as how it carries my teams through this week's gm, spirit of synthos and inmost just simply does not feel as powerful or useful.

Renewal on Prism is finicky since you can only get 5stacks of frost armor 7s without the stasis fragment So HOIL+Cyrtarachne is my preferred Hunter roll. Punch builds have done more damage to the youth's brains than pornography LOL

The only problem with hunter class item lair & caliber is that it deletes all enemies around so if u want to build up combintion blow u wont have enough enemies bcz they just gone

Vault space has become a joke if you play more than a single class. All the exotic armour & weapons, respectable ergo rolls, and now they don't allow many crafted weapons, tweak perks crazy often, plus we have a whole new armor set idea coming that is going to nuke vault space. Never mind trying to save raid armour sets for the unique mods you could run in those encounters. Bungie is killing their own game with such small space and rapid content release. Class items should be allowed to be pulled from collections once you've unlocked them. This for a start would help.

Severance feels non existent when you have consecration on. So unless you are using a different melee probably don't even bother with Spirit of Severance.

You’re wrong you cannot attune it until you beat the mission. Random drops would be available from chess, but you cannot tune until you have completed the two-man mission.

just recently got a spirit of hoarfrost and spirit of the horn combo on my titan and for just about any normal enemy in the game it can be very destructive, using thruster between enemies and watching the solar/stasis deal some heavy damage is very fun

You focused on roaming supers when the original comment was saying “hey this would have been a lot more helpful when Festival of the Lost was starting.” Now it goes away tomorrow and people are only going to be able to get it from Xur or DD/Pale Heart farming and frankly I can probably list on one Word document in 12 pt font the amount of people who aren’t tired of both of those.
