Did you fix your problem I’m having the same problem with my Johnson outboard 140 when it’s in Idaho it wants to die if I put it into gear it wants to die if I put it into gear and accelerate it’s fine.

This may be as simple to fix as merely cracking the low speed fuel mixture adjustment screw one way or the other on the carburetor. If it's been coughing it's running too lean.

That's crazy, I rebuilt my carbs on my Yamaha 50hp and it only does this chirp at 1100 rpm and then straightens out. Rebuilt carbs new gas new plugs but the motor did this before I rebuilt carbs. Motor cranks right up now. It sometimes chirps and sometimes doesn't

Really sounds normal.. That chirping sound needs grease or a rubber bushing is worn-out

Lean sneeze do you run ethanol free gas ? If not replace all fuel hoses including the ones between carbs and filter and clean those carbs

I get the sneezes on idle when cold at least. Its 95 RON in UK is that good or bad to use?

What year is the motor? Check into the recirculation valves. Changed mine and idle performance was perfect.

@@mohammadsheikh1690 you need a factory service manual. Too complicated to explain on a reply. Bought my manual for 30-40 bucks. Recirculation valves were $25 each for a total of about 100 bucks. Motor runs great!

Only pull single people on wake boards or skies with the Ski pole attachment point! Always use the transom hooks for multiple people or tubes because the drag is great and so is the pull and stress will break your ski pole!

Perform a link n sync, set the timing, clean the carbs and it will run great. Or sell it to me. I've been running ethanol gas for 10 years in my 1999 without issue.
