I never imagined in my lifetime that i would say SNES Bowser Castle 3 is a great track. But not only that but the music screaming in my ear, hell, It's literally peak rock music. I really love how they kept the original orchestral hits in there but they transformed this track into a chaotic heavy orchestra of metal. The absolute madness with the lead guitars and its dive bombs and that added sweep pick arpeggio in there is super sick and the riff in the back along with the awesome drum fills makes this sound super threatening and dangerous which is perfect for a bowser castle track. I was scared they were going to go with a direction like the other snes tracks but boy did they prove me wrong. This is arguably the most metal track in the ost 🤘

Best SNES track in any Mario kart game, the track is like a super Mario kart equivalent of waluigi pinball, it’s a whole blast from start to finish with its (surprisingly not annoying for a SNES remake) sharp turns, blocky corners, and close sights of teasing to the lava if you don’t drift at the right angle as the music gives you a satisfying,treacherous and rock and roll feel as you try to navigate the right stops and tricks to get 1st in the race along with the great shortcuts and free opportunity to get ahead the pack! 9.6/10
