Question can u hack the SNES with the USB drive without via PC to snes
@Axel197629087 жыл бұрын
I think its not a problem withthe kernel its a problem with the adapter. Otg isnt like otg. Today i tested 2otg adapters. No one works. It must let the power go through to exit. Most of the otg adapter let the power go in, but not to the exit, only to the usb in connectors t9 power up power needed external equipment. It must support charging. Put power into the adapter an the exit to your mobile. It its charging, i think it would work on the snesm.

If they have to be SF ROM files to read, you’re not going to get any other console running just yet. Sounds like the next obstacle will be getting compressed ROMs running, that will open the door to everything.

Hey man so you are the creator. What else do I need to do to get this to boot from usb, the Snes still needs to be flashed and fixed with hakchi first? And then this is bootable from you on the usb on it's own? I saw some guide I will follow but not sure he used usb and that seems really nice.
@KMFDManic7 жыл бұрын
MessiahGaming1080p Not the creator, madmonkey is. I am part of a team, along with several other awesome people. And, I do my specialized part with its RetroArch interaction (RetroArch is my specialty), testing, smoothing out releases (hakchi1 USB-HOST) with testing and helping get fixes and features integrated, giving personal input, relaying feedback, and so on. You need an OTG Host Device. I recommend one that is similar in appearance to an octopus, has an OTG switch, along with at least a 32 gb flash drive that is fat32. You have my Core Set?
@MessiahGaming1080p7 жыл бұрын
I just ordered 4 of the ones he have in his description, is that what you mean with usb host? I have not yet downloaded any core sets or anything. I need to check some tutorial on all stuff I need. As I understand it it's just a software mod nothing needs to be done to the console otherwise? Retroarch seems nice so that is what I will run on this one? That is a bundle of emulators right so I only need that and can then play most famous systems? Thanks for the help appreciate it man.

Oh my god the Snes mini is so freaking cute, I can't wait to get the 3 I ordered! Thanks for this video, btw you mention SD card in the description, you have changed or added something more because I see you use USB not SD? And also when you put in the USB you always override the original games, so if you wanted those original games bundled with the original you had to put them in again on the USB? Thanks in advance and thanks for sharing, this is truly awesome. I love that Nintendo did this, releasing a new Snes.
@karlcarpenter606 жыл бұрын
hi can you re up the contents of the micro SD card you are using ./ its not there anymore thanks
@MessiahGaming1080p7 жыл бұрын
I so agree with you, a big thank you to the guys making this possible, to only have 21 games is such a strange limitation from Nintento, at least give it some futureproof value and evolution as a machine. But I guess they just want a quick money grab and then back to virtual console on the Switch, grabbing money over and over for the same old games for each new console. I see no other reason for it than that tbh. So thank god there is ways and people dedicated to bring us what we want to have, excellent, awesome and just my childhood all over again down to the controlpads, the look of the machine except smaller. It almost feels unreal that I will have a Snes again in a few days. Another thing, how can you play the 4 player games on the Snes mini, is it even possible, are they releasing accessories for it or you have to play that with mods also? Thanks once again man, appreciate it!

Ethan viengkhou it depends on which way the seller defines as being UP! It’s critical that you ensure that the FLATTER part of the micro USB can be identified in any images pointing away from you (if it was inserted) being up and then the plastic and USB A socket going to the right. Take your time, or order 2... they are cheap.
