@LadyCoyKoi4 жыл бұрын
They got the idea from Draculas' name which means son of dragon. Dracul was his dad which meant dragon in the old medieval Romanian times. It was also a title given to the Order of the Dragon. Really cool knight society name. They were a class of knights who fought under the Christian flag to fight against the Muslim invaders. You could say without Vlad Dracula we would all be Turks and be a bunch of cave dwellers. Europe wouldn't have the later Renaissance such as Leonardos' inventions and skilled art works, no Michelangelos' Sistine Chapel, No advance Science, Medicine, technology... forget about the internet, computers, etc. Love the consistution? Equal rights? Ok that was white men, not Islamic extremists. As a woman who enjoys Science, Medicine, having the internet, being able to go to college and play video games, Islam can kiss my ass! I'm glad Vlad push those backwards bastards where they belong.

Nah this game or movie isn't but the original story is as they tied it into Bloodlines/TNG. Later Castlevania would be directly inspired by this movie though by having Dracula's origins pretty much exactly the same as this movie (a good knight who loses his wife and succumbs to evil)

This game brings up so many questions... so... many... questions... Why does everything explode? Why are zombies the only thing that doesn't explode? Why do you have to talk to some random guy before you can go to the exit? Why does the exit explode? Why is Renfield 20' tall? Why do you suddenly need a key half way though the game to proceed? Is Dracula gay? If not, then why does his castle have a bunch of statues of dudes holding balls? Why do projectiles fly at a brisk walking pace? How small is the hit box on the spikes anyway? Why is all this furniture flying around? Why is Harker such a badass in this game? I don't remember that in the movie. Why isn't the protagonist Van Helsing instead, or that dude with the cowboy hat? Where the heck is Mina? Why are there so damn many bats? But probably the most pressing question... Why do so many movie games suck?

+Missionary of the Adepta Sororitas Okay yeah, but it's fun. I mean the colorful and fuckin' wacky graphics, the dope ass 8-bit sounding music, and the mood of the whole thing just make it... fun. Or maybe that's just nostalgia, I don't know. But nonetheless, I play this game all the way through every year or so.
@ancientone59036 жыл бұрын
+Missionary of the Adepta Sororitas To answer those questions are simple... Question 1: Why dose everything explode? Answer: Welcome to the world of video gaming logic. Question 2: Why are zombies the only thing that doesn't explode? Answer: Well, welcome to the world of video gaming logic. Question 3: Why do you have to talk to some random guy before you can go to the exit? Answer: Because the creators of the game made it that way. Question 4: Why dose the exit explode? Answer: See answer for question 3. Question 5: Why is Renfield 20' tall? Answer: Because Dracula in the game is capable of making people people and animals over twice there size, it just never showed it in the movie. Question 6: Why do you suddenly need a key half way through the game to proceed? Answer: See answer for question 3. Question 7: Is Dracula gay? Answer: I don't ever recall, I think he just loves the statues for how they are made. Question 8: Why isn't all this furniture flying around? Answer: Because Dracula can make it that way in the video games. Question 9: Why is Harker such a badass in this game? I don't remember that in the movie. Answer: Because the game designers for the video game versions of Bram Stoker's Dracula thought it would be totally awesome to have Jonathan Harker defeat Dracula's legions by himself even to the point where you can have him kick Dracula in the face in the Sega CD version like the hardcore badass he is. But even then he can't compete against Simon Belmont who is specifically known to be "The Most Craziest Mother@#$%#$" ever known as he eats the meat hidden in the wall after breaking the wall down with even just his whip in order to refill his own health! Question 10: Why isn't the protagonists Van Helsing instead, or that dude with the cowboy hat? Answer: See question 9. Question 11: Where the heak if Mina? Answer: Very good question . . . maybe the game was rushed or maybe they forgot to add her for if they realize they did then its already too late . . . so yeah . . . Question 12: Why are there so damn many bats? Answer: Dracula can control bats to the point where he will instruct them to attack Jonathan Harker, which makes sense because Dracula can also call forth wolves to attack Jonathan Harker as well as other individuals if given the chance as well.

Konami should have been chosen as the main developer for "Bram Stoker's Dracula" games, thanks to their experience in making "Castlevania". I was curious about why Coppola, Hollywood, America, and Japan never thought about looking for better game companies to make better game adaptations based on "Bram Stoker's Dracula" until I found out about the "SEGA-CD" version of this game (which was actually more different than this) and then saw this video. The "Batman" movie (1989) had games based on it, and one of them that was developed and released to be played with the "Sega Genesis" console was my favourite. Maybe Coppola and the others never really had any interest in making better video game versions based on "Bram Stoker's Dracula" than this "SNES" version.
