This is the definitive version of this song, as far as I'm concerned. What I mean is I think this version does the best job at doing what the original did, in that it's just a better version of the SNES track. I do like what they did with the Mario Kart 8 version, and I definitely think taking it in a new direction was the right move, but as far as *being* SNES Rainbow Road goes... this is the ultimate experience.
