I loved this game back in the day. It was the game that tought me all about football when I knew nothing about it. As far as I know, it's the only game that lets you play High School, College, or NFL.

Yes indeed, I used to put 2 player head to head on and choreograph my own games. I loved making the quaterback "hut hut hut hut"! I had so much fun with that game on 2 player.

Used to play this as a kid. The regular Play Action Football as well. Looking back, the game was pretty bad but it was a lot of fun then when I wanted a break from Tecmo Bowl.

This game is bad because of the camera angle they used and the speed of the game. However the game does look nice and I like the availability of pro and college teams as well as creating a high school team. That feature was ahead of its time

I LOVED this game! The angle was horrible though Bahahah! Jerry Rice’s character was fast as hell though! The QB says ready, set, Pup, Pup, Pup!! But let’s be real... the funky bass lines for the sound track are midi gold! Nostalgia at its’ finest. Sigh.

Some sports work better for isometric view for video games than others, and unfortunately IMO football wasn't one of these, not just this game. And the opponent AI looks too easy to exploit when it comes to passing the football. On a brighter note you can choose your team name and uniform colors which was a big deal for sports video games in the 16-bit era, and today is a standard feature for modern sports games.
