This is such a deep game. The combat system, although tough to get into at first, lends a ton of depth to the game and it's mechanics and is incredibly rewarding once you get good at it.

@HereticVII He then fires Magneto as his enemy for having a lame, useless power. The guy who can throw a football stadium at you is lame, and the guy who's basically indestructible and can cut through almost anything, is useless because there's this one lame guy we fight who can counter you. Gambit is also fired because he might run out of cards. Weird sketches. The one where he fired Angel is the only one that made any sense.

It actually plays more like a Street Fighter game. The commands for Cyclops' Optic blasts, Gambit launching the 3 explosive cards, Psylocke's psychic knife are the same as Ken/Ryu's Hadouken.

He could heal in this game, you just had to stand around and not get hit for a while, you could then use that in two player mode by having a fully healed wolverine stand next to/ontop of, the other player/weakened character and their health levels balanced out

Each character has their own last level and boss before Magneto. You did Wolverine's last level with the machine as the boss. I have the game on the SNES and played through it a lot
