I wondered how they got sprite rotation (the giant boulder) to work, as the SNES didn't natively support sprite rotation without the SuperFX chip. But of course the boulder is an image on the otherwise black background layer, which can be rotated in mode 7.

Dragon-The Bruce Lee Story,is actually a very good fighting game.It has an in depth combat system, with 3 different fighting styles, that you activate by building up your ''chi-meter''.If you build up enough ''chi'',you can pull out a nunchaku and trust me,you will need it.The game is also pretty hard, has great animations(if you're a Bruce Lee fan you will recognise many iconic moves),cool soundtrack incl. music from Lalo Schifrin's ''Enter the Dragon'' soundtrack, speaking off,you actually fight the villain of this movie and an opponent who looks like Jim Kelly. It also has a co-op mode The negatives:it's very short, you can finish it in less then half an hour and in multiplayer versus-mode ,you can't play as the opponents, only as different coloured Bruce Lee's.

Man you were REALLY lenient on Lethal Weapon. I got the game pretty recently and, of the 30-something SNES carts I own (not counting duplicates), it's the only one I own that I would truly label as "awful." Can't shoot while ducking (even though the enemies can do it just fine), can't shoot while on the ladder, boring and/or confusing level design (depending on the mission) and terrible enemy placement where you sometimes have no choice but to take a hit. One such instance was while I was on a ladder so I fell to the bottom and had to climb back up only to take another bullet I couldn't avoid. If that's not horse shit, I don't know what is.

I also love Last Action Hero. 99.99% of the time when people say something was too smart for people to get it, they're just being dickheads, but there are a few times when I think it applies. Starship Troopers is one of them, and I think LAH is another. Not that they're Crime and Punishment or anything, they're not hyper intellectual, but they have the appearance of being stupid so the genuinely thoughtful critique went missed by a lot of people. LAH really is a wonderful exploration on the topic of violence post 1970s cinema. It really cleverly explores how movie violence is both related to and distinct from real world violence. Worth a critical analysis or two :)
