Ha, I forgot to mention that when my dad took me to see Temple of Doom that I was so freaked out when Mola Ram grabbed that guy's still beating heart from his chest; that my dad had to take me out in the lobby to calm me down, and remind me that it was just a movie and wasn't real, before I would go back in and finish watching it. Damn, I miss my dad. To everyone reading this, do yourself a favor; call your dad and tell them that you love and appreciate them. You only get one; and man it really sucks once they're gone.

Man, the harsh life of the unknown movie extras. Everyone looks at a sick Harrison Ford not giving enough fucks to film the scene properly and 'whipping' out his gun to get it done quickly, while nobody appreciates the SICK SWORD FLIPS AND SWINGS of this dude. Come to think of it, this dude would be right at home in Star Wars. He picked the wrong Lucasarts film starring Harrison Ford :(

It's just such a breath of fresh air compared to the overly clickbaity, overproduced, in-your-face style of reviews of old stuff popularized by people like AVGN and Yahtzee Croshaw. Not that I think they're bad, but sometimes you just don't wanna hear anger, snark, or gimmicky skits. Sometimes you want it clear, concise, and basic, and that's Drunk.

In regard to passwords, a lot of people don’t realize that inputting passwords is actually programming the game to reflect a certain series of information. It’s not actually a password like, “open Sesame”. So games that have A lots of complexity like a Metroid needs for you to program in how many missiles to give you, what power ups you have picked up, etc. Simple action games can’t have short passwords because the game only needs to know what level you are on.

To be fair, on the second stage you can stay a bit to the left from where you start to have a bit more room to see ahead and still not get hit by the boulder. Just make sure to keep jumping when climbing the uphill sections or it will catch you. Also, the rocks that fall from the ceiling are only for show and the small floor traps won't hit you 99.99% of the time, so you only have to watch out for the tall ones that spring up.

@@Fiazco I would agree with you because Indiana Jones is something that feels a lot more at home in a game like the emperor's tomb than it does in a game where you're figuring out which item to use to advance the game. but I thought I'd put them up there just so people who read these comments in the future would know about them and if they like those types of games they would have that option. Also cuz I looked up the infernal machine and at least the steam version they have for the PC got pretty good reviews but I remember James and Mike trying to play through it on one of their James and Mike Mondays where they do let's plays and having difficulty with some of the controls and some of the jump mechanics to get past the first screen I don't remember exactly what the problem was cuz it's been a while since I seen the video but I do remember they didn't think it was a very well put together game from when they tried to play it. But I was surprised to see other people loved it. is it really that good of a game and worth trying to get a copy of? Also which version of staff of Kings is worth playing because when I looked it up it was released for many different consoles including the Nintendo DS I think. Too bad there's not an official PC port because I would love to play it in a way that was written for the PC instead of through emulation. because ever since I beat emperors tomb way back in the day when I had an Xbox original I've always wanted to find another Indiana Jones experience like that. Because I thought that game was freaking fantastic I could not stop playing it until I beat it. In fact funny story when I had the game I bought it new from GameStop at a time when they would let you return new gamed within 7 days at the time. so it was the 7th night of me having the game and I finally beat it just about a half an hour before my local GameStop was about to close I took the game back got my $50 back and put the money down on the Sims a choice I regret now but I really wanted to play The Sims back then. So I got two games for 50 bucks instead of one. #Beat the system

This is the so called "rhetorical question". Its worth playing today, and it is funny because indeed I played and finished this game exactly TODAY! One more crossed off my games list.

Man, I HATED that boulder level. But I've gotta say, those spikes popping up prepared me for the pop quizzes I faced during my semester of studying archaeology, so there you go.

This reminded me about cliffhanger on sega cd - for the 2nd level being getting chased by something and having to die over and over to learn the level. That snowboarding avalanche thing was just as annoying as the boulder was on this.

I have yet to play this through, but I always found it amusing that the very first enemies you encounter are bats that go up in flames when you kill them. It gave me strong Super Star Wars vibes so I saved it for later. I may try it out soon

I think the reason the Star Wars and Indiana Jones games on SNES are good is because while based on the movies they were not released alongside any of them. This allowed for a normal developmental cycle versus having to rush to get it done for a street date to coincide with a movie's release date.

Funny, the animation after Indy got rolled by the boulder, looks like he is not even dead,he just looks a bit headache. He is supposed to be able to continue the stage afterward.

Speaking of Judge Dredd, theres a good light gun game on the PS1. Thank god my neighbor threw out a pretty good tube Tv a few years back, it even has component hook ups. Its a flat Sharp 25" or 27". Works great! Especially with the GunCons. I made sure to have 2. Id love to see, lets call it a "Cavalcade of Light Gun Games" episode. PS1 has a good amount of light gun games - Elemental Gearbolt, the Point Blank Trilogy, Time crisis, Time Crisis Project Titan, the above mentioned Judge Dredd game, Lethal Enforcers 1&2, Crypt Killer, some Jesse James Western game (I dont feel like looking what its called right now, maybe Gun Fighter?). It may be hard to record thou...

my favorite Indiana Jones game is always going to be Indiana Jones and the emperor's tomb which was released on PS2 Xbox and PC I believe. That is probably the closest I've ever felt like I was part of an Indiana Jones movie. Fantastic game very similar to a tomb raider but with Indiana Jones flare Also another great couple of Indiana Jones games are the old Lucas Arts point and click adventures a lot of people really like them because of the choices and the many ways to go through the game well like two but that was a lot for the time . The titles were Indiana Jones and the fate of Atlantis and Indiana Jones and the last crusade: the graphic adventure
