Phony was the one who snaked snipe before a decision was made by telling frexs that he wanted to drop him. Kids these days get way too emotional, business decisions were discussed and then leaked before anything came to a conclusion which is why snipe was so annoyed because he wanted to finalise a discussion first. It’s a business for them not just a game, I think most people struggle to differentiate that.

He single handedly carried DNO and Sentinels during those brief stints and he instantly made XSET way better during pro league scrims since he joined them. So, from what I understood, correct me if I'm wrong. Snipe told one of his teammates about adding Koy to the team. By "adding", it's clear that he means replacing other teammate with Koy. Then, he decides to stick with cards he has. He doesn't change his mind, he just understood that it's not heppening. Now, I really don't know how it's all working e-sports, but what I do know, trust is very imprtant in any industries. If you are not trustworthy, no one is going to work with you. And I would imagine, trust between 3 people constantly training and participating in all sorts of tournaments is pretty much essential. So, as much as I like Snipes gameplays, he broke this trust first and therefore, got what he desereved.

he told his teammate that with the context of the other 2 teammates were starting to yell at each other, unproductively. also, it's not that he didn't want to play with that teammate anymore, just that if there was to be a change, koy is the only player he thought would be acceptable to replace them. he presented it as an option, not as a demand, as he very clearly states in the very 1st minute of the video lol he also mentions that he would've understood if the other 2 had decided to bring koy to replace snipe himself. by the sound of it, he didn't change his mind bc koy wasn't going to work out (he was on break during this time, so he was completely out of the loop of what was going on) but because he actually wanted to keep the current roster. all of that is 100% still professional and reasonable behavior if the other person he was talking to was also an adult. no trust was broken, it was only perceived to be broken because the other 2 got emotional over snipe daring to give them options. i do agree with you that he got what he deserved but only because he mistakenly thought he was talking to professionals. of course, i only know snipes perspective. could be that the other 2 see it differently and there most likely was some stupid miscommunication that escalated the whole situation.

I don't see it like that at all. By the explanation snipe gave, and that's really all we have to go on so far, it's just a situation that was handled in an immature/emotional way. Teams make changes all the time, for better or for worse. But how do you make that type of move. You need communication with the other part of the team. Phony was the IGL of the team and his input is important on moves like that. If phony had of just said "no way" and decided to keep frexs, snipe would have agreed with him. But phony took it as betrayal rather than business. Got emotional. Like snipe said might be an age thing. They're all young. Let their emotions take control too much. You see it with alot of these guys.

@@tphil5901 That's true, depending on the circumstances teams change. I still remember him on TSM and from what I remember, there wasn't any drama. But it's all very situational. I'm still not sure, that trying to change one of you teammates behind his back, was a good call from Snipe. Both sides could've handled it better for sure. But since Snipe was initiator, it's mainly his fault. If teams have problems within you rather try to fix and work it out together which he eventually decided on after his suggestion failed or you leave yourself if you see it doesn't work out. That's what large corporations do, rather than firing, they give additional trainings instead of looking for someone who at the end could've been even worse. I don't think it was mature to talk behind your teammate's back to replace him

Feelings getting hurt aside, if you are talking about the roles on the team and who’s replaceable, it’s clearly snipe. Phony is a good igl in a league with maybe 5-6 of those total in a 20 teams league, so u can’t drop him. Frexs is born support/anchor, guy has played support his whole apex career from the literal start of apex. This makes snipe the de facto fragger + firepower of the team, in a market where roller fraggers are a dime a dozen, where snipe is at best average in terms roller mechanics. Snipe’s best bet was probably to try to keep the current team going, and hope they eventually develop that fighting chemistry. My headcanon is that snipe could feel that phony and them wanted to move on, so he decided to get in front of the problem by suggesting koy and his openness to playing support, probably assuming he had some leverage with the org and all. Unfortunately he overestimated his leverage, and with some pettiness from phony and frexs here we are

honestly. you were just trying help out a team mate. looks to me you noticed that even though they are good friends, that they were having trouble inside the game at a lan event. Then you didnt hear from either of them for a bit so you called up phony. Mainly just to see where his head was at. You kinda drew a line that maybe suggesting a team change wasnt the right thing to say. I mean even just getting on a call with both of them and talk things out before pulling phony aside about it would have been more productive. Finding out their headspaces first. Them though how they handled it was just young and inexperience they sound like shitty people honestly. youll find better.

I think Snipe is thinking too much for these kids, it’s not like back in the day where you could talk it out and accept changes to a team / roaster even if it meant dropping a player for another talent if you believe that’s the right move. Snipe knows he is in shambles. His skill has deteriorated or better put there are tons of very good roller players now. He can’t find an IGL better than Phony. Everyone wants Koyful so choosing to team with Snipe + no IGL would be foolish for him. Think he is with Xset anyways. Idk how Snipe pulls together a competitive team unless Faze throws alot of money at talent and there is no incentive for Faze to do so.
