SNIPE SHOOTING IN STRONG WIND!! | DRIVEN BIRDS | FABARM XLR COLUMBA PALUMBUS SEMI AUTOMATIC

Snipe are a hard bird to shoot but in the wind we experienced, they were nearly impossible!!
My goal was to capture shooting a snipe on the ShotKam and I did it!! I managed to get a few and have a nice day out with friends and Duster the dog. I hope you enjoy joining us on the day.

Good shooting Rob. I have shot quite a few snipe over the years on the Levels. Years ago was standing next to a Gun behind a hedge, a field was driven towards us. Three snipe rose and were quartering towards me but several yards apart, as they approached the Gun about 20 yards to my right, shot one cartridge and all 3 snipe dropped in front of me. My best run on snipe is 17 birds for 24 shots, back in the 80's.

One of my favourite birds to hunt!!! Here in Portugal we walk after them and is a very difficult shot. Good video! 👍

I’ve not shot snipe yet but i have shot woodcock and their incredibly difficult to shoot and i think it may have been luck that the one i shot didn’t change its direction

Not good . 3 shot auto OK for vermin but not for game or waders or any waterfowl on our list .

Yeah that’s a fair comment. They will have a place for shooters who are recoil sensitive though. Steel loads have a lot more recoil than lead
