I also enjoy the simplicity of it. It's what I used to like about older call of duty games where you could just run whatever gun you want and you didn't have to run all these meta attachments to be competitive.

Let's be real here, there were still meta guns in older cod that you had to use sometimes to compete with others. The M16 and one bursting people in cod4? The UMP in MW2? ACR? MP40 in WaW? I agree with the attachments point but the game has always had meta guns that outperformed the rest and if an entire team was using them against you, using a non-meta gun was a disadvantage.

Funfacts about the chainsword, you can reverse the direction the chain runs, as to rip the enemys weapon out of their hand, the teeth will rip before anything else gets damaged and also it has been around for aeons, being used by the Thunder Warrios who well...chose another career path, mainly fertilizer. also, the space marines in almost every game are far slower than they are in lore, depending on the author everything above 40-50 km per hour is usually the norm, canonically primaris are even faster than firstborn

God this looks so much fun. Im waiting until ive finished both the campaign and the co-op missions before diving into PvP but so far this game is incredible. Had no idea the PVP would have this old school feel. GoW comes to mind but so does Unreal Tournament, weirdly.

Lol, when it came out and at the beginning of your video again, i said it feels like gears of war. Pvp is definitely fun, especially with a friend. I tried the sniper, headshots are really important. The only thing that id like them to add in pvp is like damage warnings. You simply die and dont even know it sometimes. The campaign is pretty flawless in my opinion! Great content! Get Stone on and show him that easter egg 😂😂😂

Sniper takes 4 shots to kill a full shield/ health target, while your armor melts like butter. 1:43…now imagine that but with an enemy that’s paying attention and has allies.

As far as I can remember we could transform into a dreadnought in the multiplayer part of space marine 1، and I hope that the developers add this option later in space marine 2 as well.

@@Aculite I don't remember exactly, but I think we had to get a point that was related to the dreadnought, and when the time needed to get the point became complete we could become a dreadnought. Anyway, you can get your answer through KZbin or even Google, and sorry i couldn't help much because it's been a really long time since i played space marine 1, and I forgot to mention that the dreadnought was part of the dlc for the space marine 1 that added the option to become a dreadnought to the game.

Ive put a fair bit of time in the pvp my only grip with the pvp is with the objective modes and thats the lack of impact one player has towards the outcome of the match. I understand its a team game but if you get stuck on a team that refuses to play the objective there is nothing you can do to affect the outcome of the game and with no mercy rule it can lead to some really brutal spawn camping

I really miss these types of pvp games or multiplayer game modes. This made me think about the Uncharted multiplayer modes for some reason. I had so much fun playing those games just for the multiplayer. I think a studio could make a good bit of money making a game that is essentially the Uncharted multiplayer mode and make it simple and with no “pay to win” bullshit in any way… including BS skins… That game couldn’t be too difficult to make

This game is a perfect and refreshing example of what gaming used to be. Fun campaign and coop, testosterone filled badass characters devoid of any political insertions and biases, sick multiplayer, no cheating (that i know), no microtransactions, no battlepasses, and its only space marine 2 not call of duty 15, aka some regurgitated garbage

I think the PvP is way to simplistic :( The modes and maps are a bit boring, TTK doesn’t let to have some interesting fights and lack of bigger customization doesn’t help either. I’ve played couple of matches a d to be honest don’t see the reason to come back and choose it over something like The Finals or quick CoD multi :( But I’m glad other people are having fun. Maybe it’s just not for me.
