MaxIndieGames Well, I started playing BC2 in March 2010, and I can testify that you won't get into full, action-packed lobbies nearly as often anymore, but the game is still extremely satisfying and thrilling in every aspect. Just because people move on to new games does not mean BC2 is not the greatest FPS of all time. A majority of players will always want to see the latest, greatest games in the FPS market.

i have a question battlefield players...i am new to battlefield games and i am getting bf3....i was just wondering about the sniping.... does the red triagle show up on every enemy? if it does is there something a player can do so one doesnt show up on his body kind of like a ghost perk in mw games i really want to improve my knowledge so i dont get powned ! thanks

how can you hold your aim after you fire. my sniper just makes bolt action after i shoot so i dont get to see where did my bullet fly. can i change it in options or something?

@rainor74 Projectile weapons such as snipers and pistols as well as all rifles are instant in CoD, yes, aside from RPG's and large projectile weapons which are slow moving.

@Gringo2000ful it is a technique used by battlfield it is called spotting when you look at an enemy and press select for ps3 or back for xbox it will spot them for everyone to see that enemies position

@LoboLoko007 Wookie hill (snipers camping around and not doing anything), more game modes, team damage in hardcore mode (turn off or redirect), destruction 2.0 (same visual every time), helicopter pilots (lock them out to people who continually crash them, rather than give your team a good adavantage), motion mines in hardcore mode for recon (reassign), cycle bolt actions without exiting scope, use ghille suits for recons instead of semi-pointy bushes. That being said, I'm still excited for BF3.

@VanillaKilla8 its called calling enemies. in real battles squad members will sometimes callout locations of enemies. in this case, they just use red dots as a way to mark where someone spotted an enemy.

@Hamm3rstr1k3 the main reason why its so hard is because it takes a little time for the bullet to travel over distances. so sometimes you will need to aim ahead of the target and that is hard.

@EpicTeX In Bad Company 2 there is bullet drop and the bullets take a while to reach their targets, especially the ones fired from a long range.So it's a bit more tricky to snipe a guy that's 200 meters away. And even more so for moving targets at 200 meters. In CoD it's point and shoot no bullet drop and from what I remember (Yes I played both CoD and BF:BC2.Tough that was quite a while ago (CoD)) the bullets work kinda like laser tag.Your target is on a player, you shoot, instant (or almost)

@BlisterOnTheMoon Those are enemies - basically you get to spot people, so for example on the PS3, when you see an enemy you press the select button, and that brings up a triangle, and if someone else kills that person while that triangle is still on them, you get a 20 point assist, for spotting them. Im not sure what you press on the Xbox or PC but im definitely sure you can do that on PC and 360 Hope that helps

@Terrr05 Steam has sales almost every single week, coupled with the option of immediate and convenient updates and an always ready re-download feature. Steam is the largest online multiplayer platform as far as I know (PS3 may be larger im unsure). Besides, whenever a game is released they will go to steam first because they know who is the best publisher.

@lolGianlol no its not, unless its close range. All bolt action snipers will kill in 1 shot anywhere at close range, the M95 kills up to 40ft with mag ammo, the M24 is around 25 ft.

There was one thing i liked about Delta Force. When you used the sniper in it, there was a certain bullet delay time, and the bullet's effective range was always brought under consideration, so you had to adjust the scope and angle of the gun respectively. The bullet hitting a target a kilometre away just as it's fired kinda sucks.

@DEMONIC127 Very true, i love sitting in the far reaches of the map, just picking off enemies. Because, the recon class is to reveal enemy positions to your team, and provide them with cover fire. Most people don't use teamwork though, it's just one be game of Free-For-All :/

@crackincrackers Well....in my area, there are many recon doesn't use auto spotter for unknown reason. =_=; I often get other recon spawn next to me but I seldom hear that they do the spotting. When they are many recon in my team, I become other class and see no red dot in my map at all.

@downwitursyztem Basically because the teams are so big your separated into squads of 4 or 5. It's easier to communicate and work together in small groups then as one huge malformed team. It does help to have friends as with any game but it doesn't make it unplayable without them.
