MaxIndieGames Well, I started playing BC2 in March 2010, and I can testify that you won't get into full, action-packed lobbies nearly as often anymore, but the game is still extremely satisfying and thrilling in every aspect. Just because people move on to new games does not mean BC2 is not the greatest FPS of all time. A majority of players will always want to see the latest, greatest games in the FPS market.

@LoboLoko007 Wookie hill (snipers camping around and not doing anything), more game modes, team damage in hardcore mode (turn off or redirect), destruction 2.0 (same visual every time), helicopter pilots (lock them out to people who continually crash them, rather than give your team a good adavantage), motion mines in hardcore mode for recon (reassign), cycle bolt actions without exiting scope, use ghille suits for recons instead of semi-pointy bushes. That being said, I'm still excited for BF3.

@Gringo2000ful it is a technique used by battlfield it is called spotting when you look at an enemy and press select for ps3 or back for xbox it will spot them for everyone to see that enemies position

@EpicTeX In Bad Company 2 there is bullet drop and the bullets take a while to reach their targets, especially the ones fired from a long range.So it's a bit more tricky to snipe a guy that's 200 meters away. And even more so for moving targets at 200 meters. In CoD it's point and shoot no bullet drop and from what I remember (Yes I played both CoD and BF:BC2.Tough that was quite a while ago (CoD)) the bullets work kinda like laser tag.Your target is on a player, you shoot, instant (or almost)

im not a cod fanboy but, things ive noticed about battlefield community since i started playing bf2 the battlefield community is made mostly of cod haters. the cod community are loyal since cod4 was just an amazing game which brought in the majority of its community. battlefield is a lot easier not to suck in. cod is more fast paced but its not as beginner friendly. hey i like both games but it depends on what mood im in.

@DEMONIC127 Very true, i love sitting in the far reaches of the map, just picking off enemies. Because, the recon class is to reveal enemy positions to your team, and provide them with cover fire. Most people don't use teamwork though, it's just one be game of Free-For-All :/

I wish they could remake bad company 2 without ruining it and add something what was missing in the game, like the AA Bradley Linebacker it was also appeared in battlefield 2 back in 2005, they probably forgot to add that vehicle for other maps that has choppers (blackhawk and attack choppers), other multiplayer stuff might need some rework like the UAV mini chopper it feels slow when you controlling it, they also add DLC onslaught 4 player co-op survival mode sadly it's not connected to the multiplayer to help you level up faster and unlock other gear they didn't bother checking it before they release it. Onslaught DLC that should be in the game instead of a DLC and it should have help players to level up faster and unlock other gears so it's connected to the multiplayers, but it's not they screw up.

@BlisterOnTheMoon Those are enemies - basically you get to spot people, so for example on the PS3, when you see an enemy you press the select button, and that brings up a triangle, and if someone else kills that person while that triangle is still on them, you get a 20 point assist, for spotting them. Im not sure what you press on the Xbox or PC but im definitely sure you can do that on PC and 360 Hope that helps

Steam is the largest online multiplayer platform as far as I know (PS3 may be larger im unsure). Besides, whenever a game is released they will go to steam first because they know who is the best publisher.

@lolGianlol no its not, unless its close range. All bolt action snipers will kill in 1 shot anywhere at close range, the M95 kills up to 40ft with mag ammo, the M24 is around 25 ft.

Sniping and knifing in BC2 is just epic. Its so satisfying to knife someone in the back, or to get a head-shot. In the game of course, I wouldn't do something like that in real life....no, of course not.....

There was one thing i liked about Delta Force. When you used the sniper in it, there was a certain bullet delay time, and the bullet's effective range was always brought under consideration, so you had to adjust the scope and angle of the gun respectively. The bullet hitting a target a kilometre away just as it's fired kinda sucks.

really and truly there is no winner when it comes to seeing which Franchise is better. Battlefield or Call of Duty. The reason why is because they are both very different games. although they are both first person shooters there are many little small attributes that make each franchises games both very good. Battlefield is more of a teamwork game and is based capturing objectives using your team mates as pose to COD where you can just kill people. two different game styles, two different games

I like team-damage, it is part of real war scenario "Blue on Blue" or "friendly fire"; I should also mention to be emproved Team-Selection, I am tired of finding myself in a 10 vs 5 game (in either side) but something tells me that this has been corrected for BF3 Oh yeah and I believe that anyone who gets LESS than -200 points (in HC mode) should be kicked out of the game, anyone with less than -150 is obviously doing it to annoy everyone.

If you aren't on Steam then your missing out on pretty much every valve title. Also there are entire Indie catalogues that are steam exclusive, along with other big time developers.

@downwitursyztem Basically because the teams are so big your separated into squads of 4 or 5. It's easier to communicate and work together in small groups then as one huge malformed team. It does help to have friends as with any game but it doesn't make it unplayable without them.
