these tutorials helped me when i started playing bf2 for the first time. I recently purchased a new computer and now i can finnaly play on max settings, on my old computer i was lagging on normal settings. Because of maximum draw distance i can spot enemies from much further away now

Thanks. BF2 can run on a windows 7 64 bit machine, It just takes alot of tinkering to get it to work. When I first upgraded to win 7-64 I had BF2 running with PR. No idea of what the steps are anymore, but I used instructions of how to do it from the net.

@DarkGamerProject I think your refering to leading your target so that they will run into the bullet at long range, because the bullet takes time to travel. This is partially covered in part 7 or 8.

love being a sniper. I really put a lots of thoughts into my strategies and moves every game. I sometimes wait more then ten minutes for one shot. But its fun as hell, one of the best multiplayer games created ;)

Guys if you still want to play just download bf2 from BF2 revive website, and then start the game and go to server list, there are alot of servers and every is almost full, this game is not dead.

Decide for BF2. i think it's better than part 3, it's not simply run-and-gun but more about tatics and this kind of stuff... Started playing it again and fell in love with this game again. Only crap about it are the hitboxes. And the jets

@ryandpahl youre right, but sometimes i had the problem that there were too many snipers in my team and less assault players. Everybody should look which classes are needed more and should choose one out of these hes able to play. Im no good bf2 sniper so i dont play as one (but i practise in singleplayer :)

What is the best sniper rifle in BF2???

you have to unlock the weapon to use it, unless you play with the european forces. they have an L96A1 as standard weapon. in order to unlock you have to get 10.000 points if i remember correct.

After watching your videos i had ranked up in game, letting me unlock some kits, i chose the L95 first, then ranked up again, looking through the unlock-able weapons i was unable to find the L96A1 i then went to my Bf2 Stats page and the rifle was not in the unlock-able weapons area, any tips on how to get the rile would be helpful.(Love your vids)

When you get ranks you can choose from different weapons to unlock. The Barret's not terribly useful though, I stuck to the m24 even after unlocking it.

Anyone wish they had the Ghillie Suits back in BF3, the BF game that PERFECTLY camouflages with everything for snipers? I do. Makes sniping look cooler and more badass now that theres a new knifing system called "Takedown Knife"

The biggest map in BF2 is 4x4km, and that is a mod. In vanilla BF2 they are smaller.

Well, I know for a fact you can wait days or even weeks to make that 1 shot. Months I don't think so, but I am damn sure days and weeks is a real factor.

key with sniping is just let them come to you. having played POE2 for several months now, the mod doesn't have a UAV and the kits are better balanced with the Fog of war moved further back with the max view distance scale it is a sniper's heaven. MSG 90 FTW!

the anti matter rifles in POE are freakin awps man, 1 shot kills no matter where you hit. I still love my medic kit though, in regular BF2 just use your grenades and cover to make snipers move and mow em down with your AK 101. its all circumstantial though, as I would say.

I don't think its really neccessary. If the assault players would take these videos and apply the ideas to thier role as much as possible, I am sure they would find them selves doing much better. Sniping forces you to think strategically more than any other class. Thus every class can learn from the snipers role. Doing well in most FPSs has more to do with how you plan your actions than the actual execution of those plans. Predict your enemys moves and you will own them.

yea i know. i think it has to do with bullet drop and bullet time though. it used to be that sniping was like MW2, but now its more realistic. which means i suck now.
