​@@ThesavagesoulsI think bolt Sniper is in the hot garbage tier because its playstyle is the same as Las Fusil but it is inferior to Las Fusil in basically every way. At least the Stalker bolt rifle offers an alternative playstyle. I did 27k ranged damage on Inferno yesterday with it.

So what ive learned about lethal difficulty is 1. Dont use your guns unless you have to 2. Parry everything 3. Take your time

Leveling up Sniper the last few nights, and this is what I have learned as well. I've actually gotten pretty good just using my knife and pistol as the Sniper. ...out of necessity, mind you. Not because I wanted to.

The stalker is so good. Overshadowed only by the las ownage. I wish they gave it to the vanguard. Would take that class to the next level.

The stalker is no good in this situation. You can tell cause the Bolt Pistol is getting more action than the rifle. I think the Instigator is good, but the Occulus is better when it comes to carbines.

Huge fan of the Stalker bolt rifle, but it never clicked with me on the sniper. On tactical on the other hand, it's become my favorite primary by far. Obviously auspex makes everything significantly better but it feels especially powerful when paired with the stalker's big headshot damage potential.

On Vanguard and Sniper I always use balance knife, you can parry everything pretty well without losing speed🤙

Honestly the stalker is best utilized on tactical. You can get a mag of ammo back for a majoris kill every 30 seconds plus reload restoration from the stalker skill tree. Those combined with the ranged dmg buffs tactical has and it really makes the sniper seem weak in comparison( at least with the stalker bolter it does)

I've used it on both, and the Sniper wins hands down. The point of using this weapon is to play the sniper as an assassin and be in stealth the majority of the mission. The tactical may have better ammo economy, but the ammo economy of the weapon doesn't suffer in the Sniper's hands so that's not a concern.

The computer is 100x better then most of the newbies trying to run lethal rn. Also u get all the ammo, health and armor so this is actually easier then running it with 2 level 4-5 assaults that have no clue how to play the game..

Bots don't play by the same rules, them appearing competent is just a ruse of AI director. They're lower priority target than players and some mobs will straight up ignore them. Zoantrope is the best example of that. That's also the reason why they're good at reviving. Bots will also heal magically from time to time. Assault bot is the worst, Neurotrope can just land on his face and he will do nothing. They also provide no passive for the team. Generally as a player you have more to do when playing with bots, especially against bosses.

I like the bolt sniper rifle but it's ammo capacity is just AWFUL, especially if you're playing by yourself. I don't know why they think the ammo capacity needs to be so trash for all these guns when Las Fusil can just refund itself with a perk on top of being by far the best sniper weapon. Sniper in particular gets screwed on ammo because unlike Heavy they don't have as many "when your health drops below 30% you regain 10-20% Ammo capacity" perks on their weapons. That perk alone lets you basically shoot forever on a Heavy and it's on both the Heavy Bolter and Plasma Incinerator, while Melta just gets an entire perk to shoot forever.

@@FirstTourGuardsman I have been using the Bolt Carbine alot on mg tactical. That thing as a relic, with headshot perks and ammo regain just mows down majoris and terminus enemies with ease on all levels. It literally takes down most with 3 headshots. It seems to market itself as a short range smg. But I can tell you when taking the length option it is a pleasure.

@@FirstTourGuardsman Sniper does get the 50% Ammo back on reload based on targets hit perk in that clip. which vastly extends its ammo lifespan when shooting into hordes and such, depending on the penetration, you might actually get back the entire clip back for free. Not the same as the fusil of course, but it is an option, and its in the weapon tree, so you don't have to burn that talent point in a column for it

Honestly from clearing lethal I just drop doe to average to have a more “shooter” experience with the weaker guns. They don’t feel weak that way but they really should function stronger lethal overall. Not asking for op just stronger I general!

What are you doing to gun strike so quickly without the cinematic zoom in? I don't even see the icon appear before your guy is going for it.

I animation cancel by pressing the parry key before I gunstrike, if you're talking about Majoris though I have no idea why it doesn't zoom in sometimes.

I got 128 hours in (on PS5). The last update ruined the fun factor for me, being I'm a solo player with randoms. They need to literally buff every weapon. They feel like BB guns, especially the mele weapons. I won't be back until they fix this unbalanced mess. Ggs, good gameplay 👌

Definitely not the worst, it’s much better than assault on lethal if you use las fusil. At least it has good support perks
