We watch you because you are enthusiastic and make stellar content over and over along with being educational and funny. I Love Grizzly and miss him very much. You and Grizzly are often in my thoughts as I go out scratching around with my 4legged prospecting partner. We are blessed to have them for the time we are allowed to on this earth. Chris, if you pick up a butter knife at the thrift store and grind a hook into the tip, it might just do the trick for those tight crevices. You could also drill a hole in the handle for a bright-coloured lanyard.

I recommend you get a crevicing hook forged out of VG10 steel, because it's super-tough, around 60HRC. I know because I'm not just a hobbyist gold prospector, but a blacksmith in my spare time. My 'hook has lasted *ages* in our river on a large acreage I own. VG10 steel is used to forge Damascus knives, and I love VG10 for its quality. If you ever get lucky buying a crevicing hook forged out of VG10, drill a hole in its handle to attach some paracord to. Then you won't lose it. I don't sell our hooks and picks, but the hooks I'd recommend wrapped in sealed off paracord. A long slim pair of pointy-nosed, right-angle tweezers would be extra useful! GR8 vid! ❤All the very best - Wendi UK 🌻

I think you might need an assortment of tips for that sucker bottle. Try putting one in a vise and slowly squeezing it into an oval and it will get deeper in the crack without losing much suction power. Still moves the same volume but narrower in one dimension.

For the metal sucker u where using it might not be pretty but u could use pliers or tap the tip with a hammer to make it a little smaller just not to much or it will split...or a soft peice of silicone hose u can easily remove when not needed as that would squeeze into smaller gaps just a few cost saving ideas I guess so u don't have to buy more new tools

Hey Chris, I just learned that another Australian Prospector team lost their dog Phantom to a 1080 bait. So sad. I left them a comment about your fight to ban 1080 baits. They have a KZbin channel as well with a few thousand subscribers. If their is way to get more you tubers, and subscribers to push the issue your government may feel pressure to do something about it. The old squeaky wheel gets the oil. Their site is Outback Gold Fever ( Mark & Krissy) it might be worth reaching out to them. Your viewership is worldwide, it could have influence on the ones making the decisions.

From the Whipper Snippers, to Rooting(just an AMAZING word for that😂), you guys seem to have us beaten by miles with our pitiful Weed Whackers and...Smashing?(lol idk which of ours to pick, Root really is just unbeatable🤷🏼♂️) Also, and alot more importantly lol, i hope you been havin some better days recently, far as that old, moldy, mental health goes 👍🏼 and even if you havent, just know that those better days ARE coming, eventually, brotha👊🏼
