Battlefield 2042 got this RIGHT..
Sniping is one of the strongest and most enjoyabel parts of Battlefield 2042 gameplay. Its one of the best the franchise has produced in my opinion. Today i use what i now believe is the BEST bf2042 sniper rifle the SWS 10. Hopefully you show this amazing sniper some love if you dont already. See you on the Battlefield.

It was practically unplayable on release, and even now the gunplay, maps, and post launch content aren't anywhere near the level of previous games. It's not a bad game anymore, but it's still a pretty terrible battlefield overall.

Thought I’d give sniping in battlefield 2042 another shot a few days ago and now I can’t stop. It’s so fun and my skill just skyrocketed out of nowhere (probably just because of me playing the game for a while and understanding the aiming). I was mainly a COD player and only quickscoped. Got really good. But as we all know, battlefield is harder than cod so getting the hang of sniping in battlefield is much more satisfying.

To me it seems sniping is alot less skillfull in bf2042 than in some older titles. Given the rate at wich the amount of people hit headshot on long range distance with very little adjustments needed. (and probably generous hitboxes too).
