This is what life is like living on a Resort in Alaska! Food truck runs, you tell us if the nearly $50 is worth it...walls coming up on the new cabin...cooking in the kitchen. Life is never boring here!
___________________________________________________
Hi, my name is Salina and I live in a village in remote Alaska that shares my families last name. My great grandparents homesteaded here in the 1940s and now it's a thriving little town of nearly 200 people year around. My family owns and operates a summer resort right on the families homestead....your Alaskan vacation by Alaskans.

May I please have your address? I have something for you. I looked in your bio info and I didn't see it. I'm not on Tik Toc, X, or any other social media. Just watch you on KZbin. Love your videos. You and Jarrod have an amazing love story. I too, met, dated and married my late husband within 6 months. I know it takes time to video, edit, and post on your various platforms tak s a lot of your extra time. I do appreciate your efforts. Your videos of the scenery around Port Alsworth are breathtaking. Thank you for sharing your world with all of us. Kim from the Great State of Tennessee!

The float planes sitting at the waters edge at the begining of the video is a postcard image! ❤ Salina, thanks for the update on how things are going, even with the hectic pace you are dealing with now. The burger looked very yummy and I always laugh when I see the extra whip on the husband's shake. 😄 The new build cabins are coming along great! Take care - virtual hugs from here in Summerville, SC.😊🌞🌼

Every where is so expensive but I can imagine that far out it is nice to have somewhere to eat and not have to do your own cooking….Not like you can run to the grocery store 10 minutes away or a fast food on every corner ….beautiful views

Couple of questions. Do yall have to get building permits to build cabins on your property? Also, if your family owns this resort, and you work for your family, why do you have to pay full price for your food from the resort? I would think you should get some type of discount.

They get 2 free meals at the resort per week, but the food truck is not part of the resort, there is much more to the town than the resort, there's no reason they wouldn't have to pay at the food truck.

I don't think they would need a permit, but it would need to built to code due to being used for commercial purposes
