I saw a guy take the shrinking beer, turned off the gravity, jumped up to the top left of the big window, jammed himself into the corner somehow and when he grew back to normal he phased out onto the platform and ran around as long as he wanted in space. He literally went all the way up to the big dish/array thats out there on the left. It was the most beautiful thing I had seen in this game

Oh, I didn't know you can do that that way. I use Wormhole Special because, if glitched right, you can set your spawn outside. If you break gravity before hand, then you'll have low gravity outside too.

Once I took the blackout stout before a mission and my character pass out just before the loading screen. That didn't removed the drunkenness effect and I had to do my mission like that... As a scout. At hazard 5. With Mactera Plague mutator. But that was an escort duty and the people who joined were pretty good so we all made it. Even Doretta. But ...not sure I will do it again. That was really trippy.

I know this is an old video but I thought my wisdom could be used. You can bring a blackout stout in the drop pod and drink it when the timer reaches 5 or 6 seconds and you keep the effect to the mission. I did it once and I could barely function.

Always loved the lines the Dwarves would give when they order specific drinks. Like how apparently the Tunnel Rat is actually brewed with an actual rat, or how Blackout Stout has them sometimes day "May as well skip straight to the hangover!". It's nice to have this funny little mechanic add so much character to the rig and Dwarves, and I really do hope Lloyd expands his menu someday soon. (Lloyd is the best mysterious bartender character.)

Fun fact: Slayer Stout is most likely a reference to Warhammer Fantasy’s dwarf slayers. When a dwarf does something particularly shameful, they’ll take the slayer oath to die a glorious death as repentance. They dye their hair a bright orange/red, wear no armor, and usually charge straight into a tide of foes with either two one-handed axes or a giant two-handed axe or hammer.

I remember there was a bug a few months ago where if you switch dwarves while under the effect of beers, their effect will not expire. So some people were eternally large or small, and I have a screenshot of 4 dwarves all of different size - normal, fully shrunk, fully grown, and one that stopped growing prematurely

You can actually go down on a mission with the Blackout Stout on. I found if you drink it just as the pod is about to drop, you get the drunken effect but don't have enough time to go down and start the mission at max drunkenness.

My main issue with the special beers is that some of them are incredibly useful like redrock blasters increasing hp by over 50% while dark morkite let’s you get more morkite… most of the time you still have to go to the final room on mining missions anyways, and it’s ONLY useful for mining missions

I had no idea that the special effects were actually twice as powerful as their descriptions led on to be, tho I was suspicious of why I was breaking 3-hit terrain in 1 hit instead of 2.

7:14 "If a player joins late, they wouldn't have the buff" That is the case for all beers. Also, the Lucky Lager couldn't work: it would be a mission-wide buff, and beers only apply to the specific dwarf who drinks it. Maybe it would work if the host drank it, but that would mean it has no effect on the other dwarves, which is just weird.

My engie is built with Beserker, Leech, Iron Will, Thorns, and Second Wind. The fact that I can die and pick myself up, do the pickaxe AOE power attack to clear all the enemies around me and heal myself at the same time is so fucking amazing. It's saved me and my team more than once, and with Skull Crusher, my character pretty much becomes a melee only dwarf

I actually played a mission with 100% on the "drunkness percentage" all you need to do is time it right with drop pod and blackout stout... It's horrible, If you get bad motion sickness DO NOT do it because it WILL fuck you up, as someone who doesn't get sick from visually induced motion sickness it still made me feel like crap...

am i the only one that thinks that the buffs of "tunnel rat" and "rocky mountain" should be switched ? i mean a rat that digs tunnels should do it faster and on a mountain falling is deadly so less fall dmg would fit . but thats just me

If you're with a group of friends (or with yourself, really) and start drinking your brew, the effects(maybe) along with the drunkness, carry over to the mission (as long as you consume the brew before the launch happens). If you do it successfully, you could drink a blackout stout, drop to Hoxxes, and have 100% drunkness and not pass out. With some experimentation with friends, it appears only the host of the lobby can experience this.

I disagree with your idea that Pots O' Gold is ever a _bad_ thing. If mining the extra gold is too much of a hassle, then don't do it. But there's no reason to not use it on point extraction, etc. and mine gold only when you happen to have free space for it.
