I too hope Geese's appearance is his ghost, Nightmare Geese. If these companies want us to take a story of a fighting game seriously, they shouldn't bring a character meant to be dead back to life for no reason.

You do know a story will never progress if they keep reusing the same guy? Geese hasn't always been the main villain of FF. It was his half brother in the sequel. Then two kids who wanted the Jin scrolls. Then Geese again then he dies. Then you got Geeses Brother in law Kain and he's an ok villain but he hasn't had much time to shine. If you remove any chance for a character to be the main Villain then why make them if they are gonna be replaced like nothing mattered... Plus if you want Geese play KOF that's also why he's alive in that games time line

The Ruby in the Capcom database is linked to the old Capcom game Pirate Ship Higemaru. The main character of that game, Momotaru, was planned to be in SFV but was eventually scrapped in place of Birdie...Ruby in this continuity is the sister of Momotaru. And Momotaru is redesigned to look more like a pirate than the Sailor he was before.

Laurernce, Krauser, and Geese are in the game for sure. SNK Japan probably omitted it to prevent spoilers. Can't wait to see those 3!

That Geese would come back is good. Especialy because in RB2, we see in his ending that his soul is bound to one of the Jin Scroll, implying Nightmare Goose could come back. Here's my question though. "Would Mr. Rooflemonger be pissed if Geese was still dead and came back as a Ghost?"

Bro that line is not even canonical. Plus the Jin scrolls got destroyed and it's been confirmed. Heck he's been dead for decades if they brought him back it would ruin the integrity of the story. SNK has ALWAYS been consistent with characters death's in all of their games. If anyone wants to play geese...KOF is right there.

@@deezee2965 I debated with him on this and he Blocked me on Twitter. I shared evidence and SNK being extremely consistent...yet he ended up blocking me. Which is sad. Because even in games like KOF characters have officially died. The only time they came back is 2 ways 1. It's an ultimate match game which has always been non-cannon and made for an all stars send off before the end of that story arc. That's why Rugal would show up even though he's been dead for a long time within the story. The list goes on. The 2nd way they brought them back was because of the events of 13/14 because Ash's death and Elizabeth remembering Ash created a time Paradox and it woke up verse (paraphrasing here but it did set off those chain of events which led into 14) Verse was born holding the souls of dead fighters from the old KOF games AND 1 From Samurai Shodown Which was Mizuki. They even have special dialogue written and made. If Verse happens to be people that those characters have old relationships with. Rugal would say lines to vice and Mature, Mizuki would say lines to Nakaruru. Even OROCHI would have lines towards Kyo, Irori. We even see him again at the end of 14 and his body is falling apart because he needs to physically inhabit a host (which was Chris at the end of the original story arc the OROCHI Saga) Kyo,Iori,Chizuru found his body and resealed it. This all started to happen with other characters which directly sets up characters in 15. That's why Ash is back because Elizabeth Tasked Kukuri to find him after Verse blew up. They found him. Rugal, Gonitz, Shermie, Chris, Yashiro are back and many others who Cameo. Like Mizuki again in the Samurai Showdown characters ending. She's not even being evil she's just shopping and living her life doing shit. But yeah I rambled on long enough lol. sorry 🤣

To add to the conversation about stages confirming characters, the teaser trailer for City of the Wolves hints at a few stages that might be connected to some characters: National Park South Town Airport ??? [Abandoned dojo] Live House "Old Line" Factory
