I certainly enjoy and appreciate a blooper reel, but watching the show live and the mistakes that happen live and the way the cast cracks up are all part of the secret sauce of 49 years of this inimitable show. the stakes are so high on live television and they are constantly riding that dangerous edge - it’s what gives the show such amazing energy.
