Snoek ( Thyrsites atun) on the braai is one of South Africa's favorite and iconic dishes. This recipe is infused with delicious lemon and garlic butter, and a few herbs. Grilled over a hardwood fire until the snoek is white and flakey. Served with baked "patats"( Sweet potatoes). Perfect!!
Recipe
∙ 2.5kg mild cured snoek
∙ Fresh lemons
∙ Butter
∙ 4 Garlic cloves
∙ 1 tablespoon dried oregano
∙ Fresh parsley
∙ Salt & pepper
∙ Sweet potatoes
