Word for word this song has so much meaning to me. I was in a toxic relationship a while back-traumatic. When I started letting myself date again, I connected with this guy that I kinda just wanted to be homies with.We had a lot in common and just vibed really hard one night. I was trying to resist him but felt myself actually really liking him lol I just wanted to get to know more about him and feel his energy and listen to the way he thinks. I just wanted him around after that one night. I discovered this song around that time and felt even more like “the universe is putting this in front of me and giving me little signs” now we’ve been together for a few months and our friendship/relationship grows more and more each day. Ok, first of all...I'm convinced that we've befriended the SAME guy, because there is no way that you just paragraphed my exact friendship and feelings and pulled the same move by playing this song for him AND singing it to him!
