Well with respect sod you chris succee i want to see the best of the best slog it out i want to see down to the wire matches . Not everyone has seen all the brutalitys , fatalitys etc thats wot mk is all about beating your apponent and FINISHING HIM not pushing start restart match before the last hit has even landed . especially if i have flown out to see these guys fight live i want a show , ive sat and watched 8 plus hours of these guys fighting in this one tournament and i enjoyed it but how many of these am i going to sit through in the future if they dont put on a bit more of a show ? il probably just watch the top 8 . im not saying every end to a fight has to be a fatality or brutality im just saying put on more of a show some of these brutalitys you have to be really skilled to do . and doing them against a top tier fighter is going to embarass them and they in return will do one back stuff like this will keep the game alive for a very long time .

The distinct lack of uppercut punishment for Tanya's teleporting shenanigans makes me quite sad. If I can read and uppercut Tanya players *online* with that horrible input lag, I'm sure these top players could do it more than once or twice _per set_ :/ Excellent showing regardless, MKX too hype. also lmao that Reptile skin is literally a Drowner.

Slim Arkane MKX isn't that free. Outside of Sonic Fox there are other legit players. YOMI houses most of them.

Tanya's evasive teleports (backwards, air dash) should cost stamina since they act like a back dash would in most situations.

***** mobility is prized in MKX. Not every character has it and Tanya is probably the first to have one that is so damn useful and so free, that the meter she gets using it pays for itself.

I look at it like this, if the same sport team won tournaments 8 out of 10 time then it would become boring and people would lose interest. I don't dislike Sonic Fox, I just want to see other people win when playing NRS games. He dominated Injustice and in the beginning started dominating MKX until YOMI started giving him competition.

In my opinion cassie is a decent match up aginst tanya she has hella anti airs. Her down 2 is good she has her flip kick which is 6 frames her upward kick which is good and air guns in Hollywood is a really good answer .

Roba Dope Go win Evo then. These youtube warriors that don't even understand the competitive scene at all are way worse then any "whining" from the community. I don't know what tournaments you are watching but I have yet to see a cassie or sonya win GF. You'd think if they win almost 100 percent of the time they'd have picked up a major by now. Tanya is obviously broken, and her hitbox apparently needs fixing as well from that spark whiff. People want her nerfed because if she isn't nerfed she will over centralize the competitive scene and we will be seeing too much of her. The game isn't fun when one character dominates.

Roba Dope You also seem to be missing the huge potential in variations, so I'll explain. Game balance is a very fragile thing, one move being slightly different can be a huge hindrance or asset to a character. With three working versions of each character, it becomes easier to see what works and what doesn't, as well as demonstrating the potential of certain characters. Imagine if Brood Mother was the only dvorrah. Interest in the character would be low, and her metagame would fizzle out. The variations however allowed us to see that with a few minor differences the character has a lot of potential. Basically, variations speed up game evolution and take nothing away. The best set ups and strings have always been the most frequently used, not sure why you blame variations for this. Watch some MK9 and play the game at a high level, then you can shit on the community if you still have so many issues.

I remember saying this on another vid, but that 6/23 patch really lamed this game looking at the tournament fights. Miss seeing characters like fisticuffs Johnny and De'vohra work hard for reset combos. Now it's just the same 5 characters (Quan, Kung, Sub, Tanya, Sonya, arguably Reptile) teleporting, project abusing, and pressuring corner like fisticuffs used to even though that was his only saving grace in the tiers. They even buffed Sonya/Rep/Kung/Quan even though they were already S Tier. Man NR I love your game but give the mid tier characters their only good moves back. (At least Kano/Kenshi got good stuff, flame Liu is BS though especially after fisticuffs nerf)

Oh my god nobody needs a nerf, its as simple as each character and their variations are only as good as the player. Somebody could use tanya or raiden and suck at the game but that doesn't make raiden or tanya a bad character or vice versa. If you can't beat tanya then go to practice and play as her and figure out what the pros are doing, mimic their tactics then figure out how to counter or fight back. Same god for all the characters. I did this myself and now i have an easier time fighting what seems to be nothing but erron blacks, liu kangs and kung laos.

If two pros go up against each other, and the fighter is the thing that makes the match up horrific no matter what character the loser picks, the fighter needs a nerf. Put Tanya in the corner? Teleport out. Want a mix up? Teleport. Want to play footsies? Teleport. Want to beat everything air-to-air and get an almost full combo? Teleport. It's easy to say 'just learn from them and get better' when you're not a professional. You suck at the game, so do I, so of course it's easier for us to do it against other average players. Pros can't do that

Sean Puffynipples I'll be honest and not many will agree, her tools in general are too good and no other character has that much utility off one move. Also saves the meter for useful things which puts her above many characters who have to actively build meter to have options.

I think Tanya is perfect the way she is now, it takes a lot of skill to play as her and she is very deadly when you master her. Tanya is a tricky character, and if you can't tell what the opponent is gonna do next, obviously you're going to lose. Don't blame the character.

I'm all for people learning matchups and getting better at the game through actually learning, but some characters legitimately need some balancing. In Tanya's case her teleports need to given a restriction, like it takes stamina to do it more than once within a certain timeframe, and having the backwards teleport count as a backdash so it takes half a stamina bar. I'm not crying for a nerf, I'm asking that she be given some restrictions before everyone gets the mindset of "everyone else uses her so there's no point in me not using her" because she ends up so dominant. There's a difference in salt and loving a game and not wanting it to devolve into endless mirror matches.
