Makes me realise how much I dislike the skewed view of the table we have had for some years. Looking at your shots shows how difficult the shots are far better.

Good recreations, but I do think that some of your shots end with the cue ball in a better position than the original shot and you mark your accuracy down. I know you try to stay true to the original but if your shot is better is that not worth a point or two. I really enjoyed these as there were some difficult ones. Thanks 👍

Here's how to pronounce the names of the Chinese players you recreated: Si Jiahui = Suh Jee-a Hway; Xiao Guodong = She-ow, Gwo Dong; Ding JunHui = Ding Joon Hway. My Chinese is crap but names are easy once learn rules of Pinyin alphabet. Pronunciation guide provided here not exactly correct but probably 8/10! Oh, Ben in Shanghai, China.

@@formulaic78 Do you speak Mandarin? Where did you learn the language? See in the closet English pronunciation for Si, though it still sounds a bit different.
@formulaic78Ай бұрын
@@snooker9773my Chinese is crappy but I have lived in Shanghai for fifteen years and I checked with my wife when you questioned my understanding. Xi is the ee sound but Si is more like an euh sound.
@snooker9773Ай бұрын
@@formulaic78 I'm native Chinese. The Mandarin vowel in Si pronounced in first tone (which is the case in Si Jiahui) is similiar to the English vowel in see. If Si is pronounced in fourth tone, the vowel is simliar to the vowel in sit. In both cases, they just sound simliar to the English counterparts. The differences can be easily heard by a native speaker. The consonant S in Mandarin is pronounced similar to the S in English, but in a different tongue position. The difference in this case is very obvious to a native speaker.

This new thing where you are disclosing the weight of cueball. Hats off to your honesty, but I am not sure it is in line with the aethos of the channel to try to recreate shots. Your table and cue fair enough - they can't quite be tournament equivalent. But the balls should be the same. Fail 100+ times on a shot or give up, but keep it real please.
