"If you wanna learn the game, you'd watch this", says Stephen Hendry, who compares this match with the Masters semifinal between Jimmy White and Kirk Stevens in 1984, a game that he recorded and repeatedly watched to learn the art of break building and cue-ball control.
By the way, Kirk Stevens made the first maximum in the history of the Masters there, although Jimmy White won the match and the title.
Ronnie O'Sullivan vs Ding Junhui, 2021 Masters - Last 16
Official rulebook - Section 2,
20. Jump Shot
A jump shot is made when the cue-ball passes over any part of an object ball, whether hitting it in the process or not, except:
(a) when the cue-ball first hits one object ball, other than a touching ball, and then jumps over another ball; or
(b) when the cue-ball jumps and hits an object ball, other than a touching ball, and at the moment of landing on the playing area, the cue-ball is not on the far side of the current position of that object ball; or
(c) when, after legally hitting an object ball, other than a touching ball, the cue-ball jumps over that ball after hitting a cushion or another ball.
The statistics shown in the video correspond to the date of the match.
Cesar Muroya created a unique editing technique to extract the essence of the game without losing the drama involved. Contextual information is also an innovation appreciated by viewers.
This format is not intended to substitute the full version but make snooker more accessible to new fans. The fluency and atmosphere of the game stay in a shorter-length video, allowing even experienced fans to enjoy snooker at any time.

I have to say kudos to Cesar. Wow. Your careful effort and flawless editing really makes watching these videos a great experience for snooker lovers. You provide perfect context to the content yet keep it minimal. I can tell you've put a huge effort into these videos. I sincerely hope you continue to enjoy making these videos because I assure you, many like me get great enjoyment out of it. Thank you so much!

We get more than 90% of the core of a match, in a wisely edited fraction without feeling like we've missed out on anything. Cheers. Great to see the extra info and call back to shots but Ronnie's 5 misses to the right middle pocket played in a row like that almost makes it look like a mean roast of sorts, which oc it isn't.

I totally agree file. I have been wondering if his channel is monetized? There's another channel I watch that does a similar thing with football. Great editing. You can tell it takes him hours and hours just to edit and put together a ten minute video. But youtube demonetized him. He announced last week that he can't continue to put all the time and effort into making his videos anymore because he's not making a dime. But youtube puts ads on every one of his videos and they collect the money. How low and dirty is that? It's just so wrong. It's not ok for him to make money on videos he has spent so much time making. But it's fine for KZbin to make the money on his work. It's very sad. We are losing great KZbinrs because of all of this.
@file4318

@@egroegartfart yeah defo KZbin is complete garbage platform for so many reasons. It's not viable to be a content creator on here anymore because you are constantly living in a knifes edge of demonetization for no reason. It's not like there isn't any alternatives either. Odysee/LBRY is an amazing alternative for so many reasons. Unfortunately at the moment, KZbin has a monopoly so it's very hard for other platforms to compete but we can hope
