The world record for a maximum is 5 minutes 8 seconds by Ronnie O'Sullivan. Making a maximum is well within your capabilities so a challenge would be to clear the table, doesn't have to be 147, just a clearance, in a time beating or as close to 5 minutes 8 seconds

The standard of snooker in the UK must be crazy high if you're no where near the main snooker tour showing that much talent 😳
@Breakfromlife6 ай бұрын
There is someone who lives near me who has nearly made it on the last 2 years. I had to play a couple of games against him this year on a club table neither one of us had played on before. I narrowly lost both frames but the difference in standard between myself and him is huge
@Charlie_Crown6 ай бұрын
@@Breakfromlife I would imagine it's a must playing against such players, on as regular a basis as possible, to reach those standards and progress till that standard becomes natural, tough going though, no doubt about it 👍

Well remember they're curved and not angled like an American pool table. I only say that as you called them side pockets and not middle pockets making me think you're American. Please correct me if I'm wrong but I've never heard anyone in the uk call them side pockets and that was one thing I didn't like when I lived in the States, I couldn't find a snooker table ,so I played a lot of pool and I hated the angled middle pockets,I couldn't play shots into them like I would on an English 8 ball table or snooker table.

Yeah I think the lines would be a great addition to this idea. Would be a lot of work but what about a static camera behind you for every shot? Plus maybe slow things down a bit because I couldn't concentrate on so many things at once. When I play snooker video games I take a while to adjust the line, power and spin. Anyway thanks for all your videos. Helps a novice like me to understand the game better!

Your cue ball control is good it makes most shots you need to play very easy. It’s so impressive
@oscarvelocitymusic6 ай бұрын
I have a challenge, try and clear the table (or just get the highest break you can) while only using the rest. Even if the cue ball is on the cushion, use the rest, spider, extended spider or swan neck for every single shot. Good luck! I’m in Chertsey, England btw

It’s an idea. I just worry that I’d be too far from the balls but maybe I could mount the camera to the rest of the

@@Breakfromlife Maybe give it a go as a mid-week, off-the-cuff type of video? I've played Snooker 19 and found it easy to pot because I'm not physically cuing! Can't get your feet, grip, bridge, action or timing wrong when it's a computer doing it 😉

Using this “computer overlay” but won’t use editing to keep the balls in the correct position when recreating professional shots 🤔 You’ll save a lot of time only having to reposition the cue ball and 1 object ball.
