Snoop was one of the few artists under Death Row who was smart enough to see where all the gang affiliations and pushing the east coast, west coast beef was leading them. I have nothing but respect for him for breaking away from that lifestyle even if it meant losing some friends along the way because in the end, none of them really had his back like that. Suge didn't stop Pac from getting killed. In fact, Suge may have been in on it. Grown men don't stay gangsta, they mature and leave that sh*t behind.

Snoop didnt want to be killed too. He turned his back on Tupac. Then he went to Master P for protection n thats why he joined No Limit Records..... duh... Ask KRS1 about this!! Snoop was an afraid coward. Tupac was going to get political n try to be the president someday. Tupac was shot in the head from a sniper rifle through the front windshield thats why they never showed the front of the car that was purposefully shot up. They assassinated Tupac in a car just like JFK n made it look like gansters or Shug did it. Watch the Unsolved Mysteries episode about this with Trech on the show verifying everything. Quincy Jones and Damon Dash set up Tupac and Aaliyah who was dating Damon Dash. The guy who supposedly shot Tupac was killed n Shug knight never got in trouble for any of it. Stop trusting these people who will never tell you the real truth including Snoop. They never showed anyone Tupacs body on purpose n the Dr. that did the autopsy left the country. Why??? They covered up everything... Alot of people died cause of this situation

I lost my mother in '96 and the last memory I had of her was me being angry 😡 because we got into our first argument(EVER)and I stormed out of her place thinking 🤔 tomorrow I'll call her up and tell her I'm 😔 sorry! Well the next day came and went, but I would never get that chance to apologize and what used to make it so painful was that was the first time ever that I didn't kiss my mother on the cheek and tell her~"LOVE YOU MOM! That's why today I never let the sun go down on my 🤬 anger, because you could wake up the next day and the person who you were angry with is no longer living!!!

Respect to Snoop for this. Shows that he knew he wasn't a natural, wannabe gangsta and was man enough to say he found it hard and unnatural to even shoot a gun. Became a rapper to get out of all that rubbish and then as he has said, certain people wanted to create a West vs East scenario but he was not about that, i.e. the divisiveness, hate, etc. which is the same as the stuff he tried to escape.

@Eli Woods he didn't pimp women when be became ACTUALLY famous. you gotta remember rappers weren't getting all they get now. the money wasn't comparable. snoop WORKED to get where he is. he was getting robbed for the first good many years of real money. and he was young still. we congratulate the fact he left it all behind when he matured. maybe not all at one time, but reality is almost no one changed all at once. its a journey. you hating on a man's journey just cause it was different from yours. and something like crip meant something still at the time he joined. rambunctious but still family and loyalty. he keeps THAT memory alive. that's that's he still reps. and we can see it's about live live his heart as he's tries to bridge gangs a couple times. he's had programs, he's made public aome things and he collaborates with anyone no matter the gang ties just to show unity...based on the hisotry of what these gangs USED to be about. u it of the hoods against the America that hated them.

@Eli Woods lmao. he wasn't pimping as he was. as I understood it. and yes i did get thst he was doing it when he made money but what we thought he had at one time, hedidn't, and when he was at the point of having it, he was letting go. the change is what people are praising. not the past. and of course snoop can't politic if no one wants to do it. there were a few. he tried. we saw that. all you're saying is you're disrespecting his attempt just because those in the streets refused to do it. that's like disrespecting mlk just because some of the black people were either too scared or too hard headed to .arch for rights. that's a dumb reason to disrespect the man that's trying. thst put forth the idea. you beinf bay or hood doesn't give you any credit for any of your comments lol. you gotta be young to think it does. snoop definitely stated his opinions of some white people in America. I guess we're going to pretend someone in his age, with his background shouldn't have a perspective of this nation and how some of the people in it act

@Jim no actually, my point is that we live in a corporate constructed world that’s been built to serve the elite, pharmaceuticals are one of the main courses of death in America, in addition to that ‘street drugs’ were manufactured & purposely put into certain communities...civilians, including drug dealers are just a product of their environment & a symptom of the disease created by the elite...like I said, do your research ❤️🙏🏽

I will say this, I do respect that Snoop pursued positivity especially at a time where his friends were at war with people he didnt want beef with. That had to be an incredibly hard position. There was a time only Snoop felt scared every day until that verdict came back as not guilty. After a huge blessing like that, you dont want to be doing no wrong. You just want to appreciate life and those that love you. I wish Pac, Suge and Snoop would have spoke and hashed everything out respectfully during that flight. It may have been life changing for all of them. I respect anyone willing to grow change and evolve. I wish Snoop would have had this same energy when it came to being loyal to his wife. But thats their business.

This shines a new light for me on Snoop. I always thought he was part of the rivalry and it seems like he was trying to be a peace-maker. If found guilty his life would surely have taken a dark path.

The spirit of hiphop was built on using it as an alternative to gang violence in the early 70’s so Snoop used that platform to promote peace unity love and having fun.

I don’t remember Snoop promoting peace & love when he first came out , maybe more in the second half of his rap career. Partying & having fun sure.
