The Rock really isn't a rock. Jesus is the "Rock," and Mr. Johnson with his foul perverted mouth could just say no. But he thinks he has to be verbally abusive to make his point. Vin should be considered a rock with empathy. He love Paul and wasn't too macho to show some feelings for his departed close brother and his family.

I think I can understand where Vin is coming from. He and Paul planned Fast and Furious. They were always working on this project. They were closer than brothers. Then one day, he's gone. Vin is feeling this kind of survivor's guilt. He had made all these plans with Paul, then Paul dies and that was like a part of himself died and he probably went through a phase of being lost due to the fact that the man who was supposed to be there in the trenches with him, working on everything, is gone. He's now trying to hold the pieces together and trying to remember Paul and make sure he's not forgotten. I can imagine he's losing his mind with grief and it's like the world is moving on while Paul is gone.

I lost my best friend, my brother Scott, in early 2018. I think about him almost daily. I've woken up from dreams about him several times over the years and I can't tell you how many times I've been doing something or watching something on tv etc. and thought "Man, I wish you were here Scott. You'd love this." I can't tell you how many times, I've shed tears wishing I could just call him up or hang out again. I don't know that you ever really get over the loss of a real friend. When I lost my brother I learned that I haven’t gotten over his death in a sense rather I just managed how to deal with it. In my mind I know he wouldn’t want me to be so sad everytime I think of him but remember the good times and live for him. That’s what would put a smile on his face. Hopefully you all can try to do the same. The bottom line is I don’t think we get over a loved ones passing. We just learn different ways to cope with it.

Vin Diesel's most unsung performance was not in one of his action movies, but in a somewhat obscure mob flick called, "Find Me Guilty". His portrayal of New Jersey mob soldier Jackie DiNorscio is impeccable. His character always shown through, and it’s a beautiful soul with good intentions. Dwayne the Rock puts on a good face, but if you look at his history, you truly see manipulation and a goal to become famous. I’m not even necessarily blaming him, or saying he hasn’t worked for it. Vin Diesel made a short documentary in the early 90's that was based on the difficulties he and others like him were going through as a young actors of mixed ethnicity. He didn't just act in the short film, he also wrote it. A producer attending a film festival viewed the film, and was so impressed with Vin Diesel's acting in the film, but also his unique writing skill that gives the viewer a clear understanding of the message the film portrayed. The producer was having a difficult time with casting a small role in a large budget film he was producing and directing with Tom Hanks. That producer was Steven Spielberg, and that's how Vin Diesel received his role in Saving Private Ryan. He has earned respect as an actor, but The Rock, I think there is an overlooked fact that needs to be looked at to make a sound opinion of him. The Rock found fame as a Pro Wrestler in the WWE. Wrestlers suffer with the stress of a very demanding work schedule, and the expectation of performing while suffering from serious physical injuries with a career ending injury happening at any moment. One night you become the Champion, that same match could be your last, because of injury, and that is where that mindset of not dwelling on the past and just get over it happens. The Rock is reacting to that expectation of "The show must go on"! Both of these men have earned respect, and I hope they can see that!

in my POV, DJ is always trying to be the alfa male in almost every aspect of his life and smash all the thing he think is a "candy ass". meanwhile Vin is now more towards sigma male who take each steps wisely and for much greater good. sometimes the older we get, doesn't always be the wiser.

I'm one of those people who takes the death of a loved one very hard... my dad (who I was so very close to) passed away 7yrs ago and I still can't even hang his pic's up.. Truthfully I can't even look at a picture of him without crying... I don't even get on FB anymore because family members were randomly posting pic's of him and I just couldn't take it after a while, so I just don't get on there very often anymore.. I might get on FB maybe 10 time's total a year... That's just one example of how badly I react when I love someone and they pass away... Knowing how bad I am at accepting death my heart breaks for VD because of how that man was told to get over the death of his BFF his brother from another mother and since he didn't because his heart wouldn't let him DJ tried to cancel him.. It almost worked too but since VD is a truly genuine kind hearted person and DJ is an attention slut and wants to try and bully anyone he can to try and get ahead in the industry everyone is starting to see him for who he truly is.. look how he did Brendan Fraser...!!
@ziggyflame6988 Жыл бұрын
@@tamipierce5916 yeah,exactly. everyone reacts differently,and when you truly love and care for a person it’s difficult to get over that persons death because they’re no longer here. Everyone deals with it in their own way. Doesn’t matter if it’s a friend or a relative etc because it still hurts. I can’t imagine what it’s like to lose a parent because those who are blessed to have good parents truly have it all because a parents love hits different. I am sorry for your loss, and I truly hope your heart will be at peace and that each day will be easier for you.

I think it’s amazing how Vin still honors Paul. That’s brotherhood, and That’s family!! It’s everything! Such love for Vin for caring about Paul so much! I know me as well as a lot of other fans appreciate it as well! Paul was the best! Why wouldn’t we all still miss him and want to honor him always?! It’s just like if a beloved family member of ours dies! Are we going to go tell someone to get over it?! No! .. Who cares what anyone else says, I think we should always honor Paul. He deserves to always be remembered. It takes a real man to show what’s in his heart to the world. So way to go Vin! 👏🏼. I’m proud of them all and the franchise! They have come such a long way and it really shows that true character, love, and friendship can really make something completely amazing! ❤

I didn't just want Vin to move on. I lost close friends who were like family - and one of those friends I called "Papa" because he was older and looked out for me and he was sometimes parental. I loved him. Even my Father would ask me "How's your Papa?" And, my dad sent him an Air Force T-shirt (my Dad is a retired Colonel). When Papa (aka Mark D'Amato, from Rollerjam, the Enforcers) disappeared from being online and no longer at his job, my Mom told me to go over there to see him... and I did. It was the last time I saw him alive, and I asked him, "Papa, are you going to be okay?" He shook his head, no, and then hugged me and held on tight. My point in sharing that is to indicate that I understand in a lot of ways what Vin was saying, and there is no "hurry up and get over it". Those kinds of friendships, people who ARE part of your family because you love them... you don't ever get "over" that, just as a parent never gets over the death of a child, or a child doesn't get over the death of one of their parents. In time, you find yourself smiling and even laughing more and more when you think of them, and tears come less and less, but you never get over it.

I don't know the whole thing about people saying he's milking it. Might be people projecting. Yeah, I understand some people don't like Vin Diesel but he doesn't come off as a douche. I've heard nothing but positivity from people who've asked for an autograph and even if he once came off as a douche I hardly think he's an opportunist and fake friend like DJ here.

Vin, I’m sorry man about your losses. I can imagine what it’s like since I have lost my best friend, and just buried my second brother in two years. It is an extremely difficult thing losing your loved ones and your own blood. It truly makes one feel all alone. There are always beautiful blessings that come after you witness them going back home to the Universe to God. One in part that everyone now understands what a class act you truly are and what Dwayne really is. Brendan Frazier was a great example of another example of grace. The people of Maui let the world know.

Easier said then done when coming from people who have no clue how it feels to lose someone, you don’t GET OVER it. For people to say that are the people that I feel sorry for bc obviously they don’t know a bond , a love , friendship. There are no steps and there’s definitely no time limit on one’s grief. It’s forever 😇🙏🏼🙏🏼❤️❤️

Right on Vin, you the man and a awesome actor. Paul supported the Maunakea movement on the Hawaiian islands and he loved the Hawaiian people dearly. That man had the true Aloha, I don't agree with the Maunakea Movement for the people that was involved but Paul did and seen the value of the mountain that is very sacred to the Hawaiian people on all of the Hawaiian islands. I never met both of you and probably never will but I wish you the best in your acting career and as a person, keep being that awesome person you are and never stop moving forward, Alo Ha....

My dad has Alzheimer's and I am slowly watching him die and talking care of him. You are a great friend Vin. You are doing the right thing. I promised my brother I would take care of My parents and keep them put of a nursing home. I have quit my job and doing just that. Its been hard. Losing my brother has been so hard. He always had my back right or wrong. I just don't get the Rock. I am very disappointed in him. Thank you for being Paul's brother and friend.

I guess ff franchise is vin diesal's way of coping with his best friend's death. I think after 10 they should just leave it to rest as that will show if that vin diesal truly cares for his friend enough to stick to his promise. If they continue passed 10 however, it'll seem like vin is milking the franchise for money and doesn't care for his friend. We'll see what happens next i guess.

Did you know every movie rock was in he has done has only benefited him and almost ended others careers. Don't believe me he just so happens to be black Adam then the guy who plays Superman quites more to the story if you ask me like trying to save his career My new name for The Rock is Death Star because he will try to burn you down if you choose to work with him. Also get over your muscles we get it you work out you don't have to flont it in almost every movie including cartoons really? and stop doing the eye raise thing you remind me of Zoolander.

I think it's sad when the media milks a feud, which I think has happend 1000fold in Vin & Dwayne's case. I Don't know either of them personally, but I get the impression that they both do a lot of good for other people (and for themselves). They both strike me as big, strong, tough, "alpha" men, and I think personalities like that don't go well together, most of the time. Two people, who both prefer being the ONE in charge, will naturally have a hard time working together. That being said, I think being respectful and professional is more important than showing the world that you're number one.

@@blackhoodie4170 If their similarity is "I want to be the big boss dog," that doesn't seem, to me, like a combination of personalities that can or will act well with each other... They're both big, strong, bald action movie stars who express appreciation of their fans.

I used to love The Rock as a wrestler, and to this day, there’s no one better on the mic, but as soon as he sold out in Hollywood and took every franchise he could get his paws on simply to grow his own brand, I lost respect for him. The guy literally takes about any role offered to him (or did for a while at least), and I’m pretty sure he played the tooth fairy in one movie. Sorry dude. But you lost me there
@jerelminter Жыл бұрын
Sold out to Hollywood ? I disagree, because Johnson is a father and that comes with him being home to see his little girls. Being a wrestler means, he would have to stop doing that for your entertainment and that's not fair. He has a life other than wrestling, sure it's what made him popular but it also comes with a consequence and being away from his family which is what I already said he would have to do, is one of them. It ain't easy like it looks on TV, it's a difficult lifestyle.
