I remember listening to ambitions of a rider for the first time. I was 16. Drunk as fuck and high. My boy picked me up.. he was with a few homie in his brown caddy on 13’s with crazy ass beat… like four 15’s. I hopped in the back seat about to pass out then I heard the song and was just blown away. The beat knocked so fuckin hard man. I can still feel it when I close my eyes. I didn’t even know Tupac came out with an album. Pretty sure it was the first day it came out. Unforgettable night.

I haven't watched this interview yet, but based on the caption I'm calling Cap. Big cap! Simply because Suge had been trying to sign 2pac since the "murder was the case" soundtrack. 2pac said Suge gave him 250k for 2 songs for the soundtrack that they didn't even use, because Suge knew Pac was going through so much legal problems. Everyone asked about this subject says Suge been trying to get Pac, including The guy who used to write for Dre. That came on this very platform and said Suge was courting Pac during that time aswell, which is why Pac was in the natural born killaz video. Only person who ever says snoop is the reason Pac got signed is snoop. And now his homeboy.... 🧢🧢🧢🧢

This man Art tryna get a Snoop interview...
@anthonyclark94412 жыл бұрын
This is 🧢 and it's been proven to be 🧢. Suge and PAC both said that Suge had asked Pac to join them back during the Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z. period, but Pac told Him that He wasn't ready. The Businessman that Suge was KNEW that Pac would bring in MORE THAN a return on His Investment, and He would INSTANTLY make back whatever He would have to spend to bail Him out. He overpaid Pac for a Song that they wound up not even using, so Suge had NO ISSUE paying that Million Plus to get Him freed.
@JamesSmith-qb3be Жыл бұрын
It wasn't SUGE money that got Pac out it was the record execs money that got Pac out Pac had to pay it back which he did and still he didn't get paid what he was owed.

RBX was just a feature on the Chronic he was really owned a little bit of money. With Record labels you are paid from the sales of you albums and all the advances are subtracted by that. The houses, cars and jewelry were company cars given to artist who did work or was signed to the label something other labels didn’t do. Most don’t understand how money is distributed in the music business and thinks this a scam but ain’t no different than you working for AT & T and your given the company truck and phone

I think Kurupt is just playing politics I don't believe snoop came up with the idea of bringing Pac to Death Row, I remember Dre being mad Suge signed Pac to Death Row because he believed he was the one who should have the power to sign artists, that's one of the reasons he left Death Row, and Snoop would never advocate the signing of Pac if Dre was against it he was Dre's puppy at the time
@TheFinancialFrank2 жыл бұрын
It could be both. That's fairly accurate about Dre. He wasn't totally against signing Tupac per say but the idea of doing business w/o his acknowledgement, sort of like Dame Dash & Jay-Z's situation w/Cam'ron being offered President position @ Roc-A-Fella w/o Jay-Z being consulted beforehand.
