I’ve seen “Beetlejuice” 167 times, and it keeps getting funnier every single time I see it. Great reaction.

Some people sometimes watched the popular cartoons before the popular films back in the day and they kinda blurred into each other in our minds and weren't sure what came first when we were kids so I get that you thought the cartoon was first. Fun movie and cartoon.

The reason the cartoon looks like then is cus that came after the movie, so they drew them to look like Winona Ryder and Michael Keaton

My favorite bit in the movie (aside from The Banana Boat Song): Adam: What are your qualifications? Beetlejuice: Ah. Well...I attended Juilliard. I'm a graduate of the Harvard business school. I travel quite extensively. I lived through The Black Plague and had a pretty good time during that. I've seen The Exorcist ABOUT 167 times, AND IT KEEPS GETTING FUNNIER EVERY SINGLE TIME I SEE IT!!!! NOT TO MENTION THE FACT THAT YOU'RE TALKING TO A DEAD GUY!!!! Now what d'ya think? Ya think I'm qualified?"

The Saturday morning cartoon came out after the Beetlejuice movie. They had to tone down Beetlejuice for kids back then.

Just like with most of the Jim Carrey animated series based on his movies.

The cartoon turned Beetle into a hero and doesn’t even mention Adam or Barbara

"I will live with you in this house, but if you don't let me gut out this house. I will go insane and TAKE YOU DOWN WITH ME!" That's a real marriage.

Tim Burton said when Keaton kicked the model tree, it wasn’t supposed to fall over. The line, “Nice F*ckin’ Model” (honk honk) is completely ad-libbed on the spot

Yeah, Keaton said that to the set designer, who was right off camera. 🤣

And that’s one of the fun parts of Betelgeuse! He can break the fourth wall at any time and can take a shot at anyone!

Love this movie so much cause it’s from the same year I was born 1988 and so excited to go see he squeal in the future.

At the age of four, I saw Beetlejuice when it debuted in 1988, and I fondly recall watching it at the local drive-in theater that very year. Rest in peace to Carmen Filpi, Glenn Shadix, Harry Belafonte, Michael McDowell, Patrice Martinez, Robert Goulet, Simmy Bow, Sylvia Sidney, and Warren Skaaren. Michael Keaton is also Mr. Mom from the 1983 film. Snoopers Gonna Snoop should definitely check out these Michael Keaton comedy films: Night Shift (1982), Mr. Mom (1983), Johnny Dangerously (1984), Gung Ho(1986), Touch and Go (1986), The Squeeze (1987 and The Dream Team(1989).

Great reaction to a comedy classic Michael Keaton steals the show in every scene. Cant wait to see Part 2 after watching your review of it. Big thumbs up from Ian

The Fly scene is a reference to the ending of the original Fly movie starring Vincent Price in a supporting role.

If you want to see a Michael Keaton comedy movie, I highly recommend his movies “Mr Mom” and “Gung Ho.” They are from the 80s too.

Awesome reaction I must say, I really enjoy you two.🤓 Just a reminder, Beetlejuice the film was released in 1988, the animated series was released in 1989, a year and a half later.😁 I do understand that y'all saw the cartoon before the movie, either way, great content, never disappointed.😎

I'm writing that my name is Josh and i've been writing online that Beetlejuice Beetlejucie will have an official 4K HD digital release on Tuesday October 8, 2024. the digital release will also include special features including a second version of Beetlejice Beetlejcuice with an audio commentary by Tim Burton. this means that everybody at home can do first time watching videos for Beetlejuice Beetlejuice beginning on Tuesday October 8, 2024. i can confirm that there won't be deleted and extended scenes to be included on the 4K Bluray and DVD release on Tuesday November 19, 2024. that might be the exact same day that Beetlejuice Beetlejcuice becomes available to stream on MAX.
