Former realtor here. Sounds like they’re worried about people with smart locks that the building management can’t access in case of an emergency. The camera should be fine there’s no law against it and if it’s not written in your lease they can’t say shit and you aren’t required to remove it.

Property manager/commercial broker here as well!! ❤ Ok.. regarding the locks.. the LEGAL issue is that the fire department has to have a physical key to access your unit in the event of an emergency. Tell them you want a copy of your physical key in the knox box (a lockbox that only fire department can get into). You’re allowing access in event of emergency and meeting your lease or covenant criteria. Do. Not. Agree to them mastering your lock.

We can hike to the “employee hot tub” where you can sit in hot spring water - tourist don’t know the spot. I live in AZ. Utah is about a 6 hour drive from Phoenix. And on the way there you can stop at the North Rim of the Grand Canyon to walk the bridge. The van road trip sounds so fun.

Not in a van, but my friend and I did a sick road trip from Vegas to Phoenix. You could reverse it or whatever. We flew into vegas and drove right to Utah for Bryce (UT), Zion (UT), Grand Canyon (AZ), Sedona (AZ) and flew back from phoenix. Can't recommend enough for a nice reset in nature

Yesssssss please come to Utah! Luckily we've had so many people moving here the mormon culture is starting to not be as.... scary, but it's still mormon city. You can drive to SLC to Vegas and a few places in AZ in about 5 hours! For camping though, start in Moab, Zion and Bryce Canyon, then go up to Yellowstone and Grand Tetons. You'll miss most of the mormons. Ok, I'm getting jealous. Can I come? 🤣 ALSO, my brother and sister in law live with us and just quit vaping cold-turkey. One is using zyn as needed, but I think he just finished his last. They're going on three weeks and have already felt such an improvement. (plus they're not as grumpy 😜)
