I worked for Shell and snorkled there close to 20 years ago ,tons of sea dragons and an amazing amount of life ,I hope it has not changed

+@robertnewman4072 this video was from 2019 and unfortunately I’ve head much of the reef is suffering. We will be back in Curacao in October to check it out. However, you may have this confused with somewhere else as there are no sea dragons in the Caribbean. They are mostly found in Australia. I wish there were because it would be a dream to see one!

Awesome video. Snorkeling looks amazing. Do you have to go really far in the waters away from the shore to see the corals. Which side of the beach is better? I am still a beginner in snorkeling :D

+@bharmarsameer this video was from 2019 and unfortunately most of what you see on this video is dying or already dead. 😢 We just returned from Curacao a couple of weeks ago but haven’t got our videos uploaded yet. The water and current can get pretty rough in this area so if you are a beginner, check the conditions before you go. Most of what is left of the healthy coral is to the right of the beach area around the rock point but it’s further out and deep.

We are headed back to Roatan in a week so we’ll have footage of that in a few weeks. Snorkeling and diving is superb there.

Can you reach from the beach or do you have to take a boat

+DW Poo we drove there and then just walked in! The beginning is us walking down from the parking lot. We like to go places where we don’t need a boat to snorkel!
