Snow and Mosquitoes 27 Jun 2023

We feel your "mosquito" pain...they are ferocious here this year...along with many other blood sucking critters - deer flies/horse flies/ticks...you know the usual pests! So much snow in some areas right next to green grass...definitely a cool place to ride. Love that gate in the middle of nowhere and cool to see the same shot in the winter. Glad you got out riding Gunny and thanks for sharing!

Yeah, I really dislike all those blood sucking pests you mentioned .... PRAY FOR SNOW!!! ......... HAHAHAHA!!! That gate out in the middle of nowhere all by itself cracks me up ... but I respect it, so the only time ride on the other side of that gate is in the winter. But man, the wind blows across that ridge. Actually I've been out riding a few times on tires, just haven't taken any video. And of course, when I don't take any video is when some really cool stuff happened, but ... OH WELL!! ...... That's how it goes. Really appreciate you & CK check'in out the video Cubbeezx Guy & I'm also glad you enjoyed it!! Hope all is well ...

You must be pretty high up in the Mountains to have that much snow left. We lost our snow month and a half ago and that was really late for us up north. Good ride!

YEEEEHAW! A Gunny video with my morning coffee! Life is good! Despite knowing how/why, I always find it wonderous that you guys have so much snow all the way down south there on June 27th, when it's 32C all the way up here - 😳😯🤨🤔🤪 12:58 - you need a better saw; one with a motor🤣🤣🤣 15:03 - Yeah, I recall a few of your videos when the snow was completely covering that gate. Which camera where you using? Awesome video buddy! Thanx for taking us along!

Hey Q, glad you enjoyed the video. I guess we have the snow because of the elevations. Like it's been around 32 to 35c at my house, but only 18 to 23c up at altitude, which is between 2590 to 2895 meters (8500 ft to 9500 ft). And there's even more snow at the higher elevations. So, it's gonna be around for a while this year ... and just think, in another 4 or 5 months ... it could start snowing again ... WOO HOO!! You know, at the 12:58 minute mark ... I was thinking the same thing ...... 😩 I was surprised that gate didn't get covered last winter with all the snow we received. However, we also had a ton of wind, so .... I was using the GoPro 11 on this ride. Thought about the 360 camera, but never mounted it. Again, glad you enjoyed the video Q, and THANKS for watch'in!!

I’m glad I didn’t watch this until now. With all this heat, this was very refreshing….white stuff and water….I kind of remember that. Haha. Great video buddy. Here’s a little humor I heard for ya for this heat wave….”At least it’s not snowing…can you imagine shoveling snow in this heat?” 😂

Glad you enjoyed the video San Juan ... snow seems so long ago .... I sure hope we have a nice long fall & hopefully, we'll have another good snow winter!! Ride safe and keep an eye to the sky ... those mountain thunder clappers can be sudden!! ... WOO HOO!!

I see the thumb throttle lever, but you don't use it. And the hand guard bracket comes down to the end of the handle bars. So must be a special twist throttle?

Yup, it's a Moose Dual Gasser Twist Throttle. I've used one for about 20 yrs. It works great for me.
