Poland is such a beautiful country ! It has everything travellers dream of: Beautiful mountains (like this place or Morskie Oko or Zakopane), magical places ( like salt mine in Wieliczka), beautiful cities (Gdansk, Wroclaw), the longest wooden pier in Europe (Sopot) and beautiful beaches (Jastrzebia Gora). Not to mention delicious food and friendly people. Poland is definitely a country worth visiting :)

I am an 84-year-old grandmother. I live in rural Haines, Alaska outside of the town in a cabin with all the amenities. It wasnt all like that in 1975 when we first moved here. Tents, stream water, home generator and radio phones. Every winter i put on my spikes and do no take them off til end of March. Google Haines, Ak to see the paradise that we raised our 6 children in.

I love your honest openness but on top of all of that, you know what makes your video so brilliant to watch? It's how all your emotions show on your face. When you are impressed, you really show impressed. When you are inspired, your eyes twinkle. And when tired, we can see it too. You can't fake that, or learn to do that. Eva, I laughed ALOUD with you during your snow plunges. Your enthusiasm was truly contagious and proof that you really are "seeking the experience of feeling alive.” Your eyes and smile were FULLY Alive. Most assuredly worthy of becoming “a new favorite thing.” My brother and I enjoyed the same rush, living in the Carpathians of Romania as boys, in a village with no electricity or running water year round. We heated our water over the wood stove and bathed in the wheelbarrow before rolling in the snow! I’ve been skinny dipping every cold water I can find ever since! What a wonderful rush to feel wholeheartedly alive! btw, I believe with you for your own “cabin in the woods.” After patiently longing for such a desire through all your travels, you deserve a lot of land to steward and build a HOME for your beautiful heart. This is an episode where I can totally relate to your friends! Oh my gosh! Everything they shared with you about their decisions to live so rural and how hard it is, I'm experiencing this now here in the glacial mountains of Northeastern Washington state! We have no running water, or gridded electricity, and we too are having to work the land, and care for animals everyday! We have snow, we have a huge hill to drive up just to get to our place. This episode, was extremely invigorating! This is the year we hope to finish our sauna and begin our house build, so I thank you for this highly inspiring episode. I can't help but think back to when I was way younger and starting a fireplace in the living room was normal because we didn't have central heating in those days. My dad would start it around 4 Am in the morning and remember watching the flames dancing on top of the coals as the place got warmer and warmer. By the time the rest of the family got up, the living room was nice and warm. It was going back upstairs to the bathroom to get washed etc. when you went back into an arctic temperature. God Bless Central Heating! LoL.

I’m not sure how to take this video. I don’t like leaving what appear to be negative comments but just at this moment in history rolling in the snow and giggling when their is a horror story with people loosing their homes and lives developing near your location is not really appropriate. With all your travels and experience in the world, what is your take on the events in Ukraine and what’s going on with the refugees coming into Poland. It would be great if you could make an episode on the experience with the refugees and how others can help them.

Congratulations Eva for taking some down time, to rest and reflect. IMO, this is a great way to facilitate creativity. I love the location and the beautifully and lovingly crafted houses. I live in a remote location in the NE, US in the mountains where we have a considerable amount of snow. Winter can be a challenge, but the nature is breathtaking. And I have two different types of snow spikes. One learns how to navigate the weather conditions.

I was did this when I had a log sauna outside in my garden in the U.K. We had heavy snow and I ran out of my sauna and did a snow roll…….I have never been so cold before 😂 I was inspired by Arnie in the film Red heat, was an experience I won’t forget!

Breath taking views! Your accommodation is luxury like living in a fairy tale. It is not easy to maintain a place like that but if you find your peace and satisfaction, it will make you happy. I remember when I lived in Germany in Paderborn. We used to go to one of the swimming pools and they had an outside heated pool to about 25c. We'd swim and climb out, did sit-ups in the snow and ice and jumo back into the pool. It was lovely. I really miss Germany. Fantastic country and people.

That’s my kind of place , the fact that they built it all themselves makes it even more amazing 🤩 I agree with the the sentiment that so many people put their trust and reliance in the system for their lives which has it’s place but when the system fails, people will not cope.
