Appreciate the common sense commentary. We had an old farmer that owned the shop I worked for years ago. He kept track of the weather since the 50’s, into the early 2000’s, he was convinced that the weather was just big cycles. Every 7 to 10 years, you had wet years or droughts. I agree with him and the other farmers in our neighborhood. Nothing like driving a dual rear wheeled truck in snow and ice. Thanks, Warren.

I totally agree about the weather cycles. Once you get a few winters on ya ( Im 70 ), you realize that they dont think in long enough terms. The weather just repeats and repeats itself, over many, many years. Take care. Todd the retired trucker.

Hey Warren, that’s some nasty conditions you have to work in! And I’m still in it to win it with you buddy! So keep showing us what you do day to day! I’m kid of surprised that the farmers dont think about you and put those old broke down machines in the shed! I would if I was calling on you to fix my stuff. Thanks much for the video. By the way I don’t have any snow on my yard out here in Utah at 4600 feet. But we are getting some in the mountains.

Love your common sense that is so rare, but we need so desperately! I agree with you and your comments make my day. The snow is beautiful if you can stay home, but getting out in it is another story. I am old now and have seen so much of what you’re going through. Nothing fun about it. You are good at what you do and I pray for health, safety, and happiness for you and your family always!!

Long ago, I worked in the bulk fuel industry. I loved the work, but it requires dexterity to fix the pumps, which means no gloves, even when it's well below freezing. Add in some wind and hands wet from fuel and you quickly learn just how painful frostbite is. I gave it up for an inside job once I got to old for my body to recover properly. I feel for you out in the elements. Thanks for sharing!

As a Canadian who worked outside as a carpenter framer for 33 winters in a row, I can totally appreciate your position. It gets harder with age. I retired at 55 because I just couldn't stand one more winter outside. Like yourself, I want to go searching for gold in Arizona in winter, and northern Ontario in Summer. I did a trip last summer to Washington and Oregon from Ontario, then to the Grand Canyon. 11,000 miles. I should have stopped in but I know how busy you are. We have a lot in common as far as a bit too much knowledge about the goings on in this world. It can make it hard to keep a positive outlook, but I have grandkids and grown children who keep me positive when things get down a bit. Look forward to seeing your videos whenever you can put one out. Just nice to see your still doing ok. Maybe we can do a little prospecting sometime. Cheers from Ontario Canada.

Point is you are an amazing Diesel Mechanic, and we all learn a lot about the hard work you do. We only lost a bunch of crybabies is all. Keep up the amazing work you do because we are all learning from you. 😊

I have channels that have gone a year and counting from their last video...maybe their busy....maybe they need a break...whatever it is, its their reason for not posting videos...so I wait. fact is, I cant find another channel that has the content, I've come to enjoy with you, I'd rather build the garage than work in one, you make it different and interesting to watch...so waiting isn't so hard to do, when you enjoy what your waiting for.... Thanks! fyi: resurrecting that D7 CAT was the video I found first on pandemic lockdowns...I was showing my son, the D7 Dozer I operated as a National Guardsman, combat engineer and have been watching ever since...

Wow. There's me looking to see what's up with our Warren (kinda family Warren) Man, you sound depressed? I understand how that feels, and I'd hate if that shit was in your world now, Warren. Not caring much about anything is worrying. However, you maybe just reached a limit, and it isn't surprising. Much as I'd miss your videos, Warren, I don't want them if the whole process is wearing you out? If you are packing it all in let us know. I seriously wish I could do something to help.
