Really great video and I think your "flat pack" braai is perfect and I'm ready to order one! Personally, I've not bought shop patties in years and after much experimenting reverted to keeping it simple. Just ground beef with a fat content of at least 25%, and just a sprinkling of braai spice works for me. The trick is a hot fire and a quick searing on both sides. Use a stainless steel spatula/lifter.

I like your braai. The only thing to consider is to have the other half of the braai top, a solid plate. Then you can do breakfast on the braai. Half the top a grid, like you have and the other half a solid plate. Sell it in a carry canvas bag. I would be keen.

Thanks Deon. Yes die rooster ontwerp het darm reeds verander toe ek dit agter kom😁. Ek verkies om die vuur te stook terwyl ek braai maar daar sal verseker verskillende opsies wees met die roosters. Dankie vir die terugvoer👊🏼
