As a kid in the 60s I fished that area a lot with an old neighbor guy. Our food was generally hot dogs boiled in pan on a Coleman white gas stove eaten on bread. But boy it tasted good after hours on river. River natural from Yankton to Sioux City

I'm envious that you got snow there! It still hasn't snowed here in Northeast Ohio. I have always and will always love snow. I think it's almost like a nostalgic thing for me. That and snow always makes me feel at ease, kind of peaceful in a way. Anyway, another great video as always, man!

Now your cooking i love bad weather camping and I have learned tons of stuff, I am still waiting for bad weather to go camping. It is 60 degrees here in Pittsburgh. Santa brought me some great camping gear for Christmas including a new cook stove. I love winter 🏕. A nice video and have a happy new year and thank you for the videos that you bring to us.

The very first few snowflakes of the season we had on Tuesday and I go out slip, fall, and break my ankle. So here I sit. I'm sure you can relate to this LOL. That looks like a nice campground. Lol the cooler with the wood in it, was funny. You need a small trailer with a smoker in it and an overhead ..... umbrella/ cover.. just back up, plug in and start the smoker.. put the ...umbrella over everything and your are good to go. well that's nice at least you'll be able to have somebody ride in the back there if you wanted to and they can take a nice comfortable nap while you drive perfect for using dual driving meaning one driver can take a nap and the other one could drive and then switch off later and work in shifts‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️

I wonder why all of our campgrounds close in the winter, like completely locked gates and signs saying closed for the winter. Some campgrounds even have a full time guard living in a camper right next to a closed gate.
