He started off wrong by calling her ghetto trash. That was extremely racist. I would not agree to splitting the utilities with another tenant. Or be in an apartment with a gaping hole in the kitchen for an entire month and rodents inside it. It does sound like a slumlord situation.

2nd case: I saw the attitude in the Defendant's words. The crash was everyone/everything's fault except her own. Mentioning the fact that she didnt want to go to work hurts her not help like she thinks. She might've been angry bcuz she had to go to work. I wonder if she went to work that day. She accused the Plaintiff of lying being at the accident scene, when in fact she was lying about the weather conditions.

But she was a horrible mother by staying there and exposing the children to terrible living conditions. She should have moved out when things were not repaired. She was at fault also.

I think at that moment she signed a lease I was in a situation like that as well and they told me it’s not like a apartment I could either live there or move out leave it vacant and still be on the lease and still have to pay anyway even though I would not be living there at that particular time. When it’s one person as a landlord instead of a company sort of speak it’s so much more difficult/restraining. They can be as much janked up as they want to be.

She should have to pay rent for every month she lived there! It doesn't matter if he "would have been able" to rent it for one of those months or not. Dude got acrewed over. What gives, Jerry?!?!?

You have to pay rent every month you are living in the rental, otherwise this gives the landlord a good reason to evict for non-payment of rent. Even if the repairs are not done. It is in the contract and the law.
