Actually it's very good that the cows had snow on their backs. Same goes for horses, dogs, cats, or any other animal outside. It means that their body heat is keeping the inside of them warm to keep their organs working. If the snow on their back starts to melt it means that something is wrong. Not only that, it'll make them sick. I live in North Dakota 3 miles off the Canadian boarder on a farm so yeah, happens all the time :)

+Sydney Hildebrandt I raise and sell livestock. they are pets and show animals to me but they do get sold to market after they are shown at fair. don't attack me for this please I get a LOT of people getting pissed because they're going to market but they are treated so much better than they would be on a commercial farm. the industry won't end so might as well make it more humane. my animals are treated like kids and I love them to death, I couldn't eat one myself.

Cows do fine in the snow. They have to eat more to stay warm when it's cold, and they need shelter from the wind, but snow is no problem.

Hi Leda~! OG subscriber here. I loved watching you go on adventures and hang out with your friends. You've always had an awesome personality. I truly hope you are finding your own happiness in life. Cheesy I know... you were one of the few people I could relate to as a teenager (I'm now 22). It was horrible seeing how broken you were by the end. You always put on a brave face and tried to have a positive outlook at the worst of times. I remember one video you were sharing how you got out of a funk; someone close to you (maybe a grandparent or parent?) said something really meaningful to you on a car ride. You said that you looked out the window and suddenly saw so much beauty that you hadn't noticed before. Idk I'm not doing it justice because it was so long ago, but that really stuck with me. I don't remember the exact quote but I hope you do. Anyway, this is long enough haha. Have a great day and remember that you are a fucking awesome human being with an infinite amount of potential. Some animals hibernate in caves and some dig underground before it snows when it begins to get cold. Also snow is a good insulator that actually keeps cold out believe it or not.
